Came here with my Wife and sister in-law. All three of us loved it! Just like most Japanese restaurants is not real inviting frome the out side an a little rough. But the food makes up for it. Fried rice was out of this world! Definitely recommend this place for a good lunch or dinner!

I have never been so disappointed as to be eager to go and write a bad review but this “sushi” experience was B-A-D. Knowing we are far from any coastlines and that fresh raw saltwater fish would have had to travel quite a way to actually taste fresh, we ordered basic sushi rolls that we figured should be quite easy for a restaurant to find fresh ingredients for (California Rolls and the like…) These sushi rolls tasted old and actually had a fermented smell coming off of them. We love the food here, but usually always get to go because of the inside. One time, it was the air conditioner, so we were dripping in sweat. Every time, it has been many buckets collecting drips from a leaking ceiling. The food is great. I just wouldn’t recommend eating in.

We ate here a year ago and gave 5 stars, but returned recently and it just wasn’t the same quality. Our deep fried specialty rolls tasted as though they were not freshly made and for a restaurant that wasn’t very busy that was pretty disappointing. Our server never returned to ask if we needed anything or ask if the food was good. We waited about 10-15 mins after we ate and was never brought the check. Finally someone other than our server told us to go to the register to pay. That was weird.

Went out to lunch today with my fiancé and had the best food! I ordered a steak hibachi, my partner ordered the chicken fried rice, and we shared a South California roll. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the sushi was more than wonderful (Like usual)

It’s my second time in! Always greeted with a smile! The sushi is on point! The bento and hibachi meals are fab! Great new edition to mountain home a place where food is way below average with lack of flavors and presentation and low in hospitality which is unusual for the Ozarks!
