Amazing find in downtown Sherman!! Darrien was our waitress…she was perfection! Pork shank and prime rib entrees were to die for! Wedge was great but if you want bacon on it you have to ask for it. The Guiness s’mores gelato was silky smooth and amazing.

We had a wonderful first visit today for lunch. The reservation process was simple and smooth, and a table was set and ready for us when we arrived with our party of 9. Many high complements were given for the Norwegian salmon and basmati rice entree. Enjoyed the chocolate cake and carrot cake after our meals very much. Our server, Ariel, was excellent as well.

Excellent meal! Pricey but you get what you pay for. Music was a little too loud, guys in ball caps & shorts was awkward since the wife and I dressed up. Seems like a dress code should be enforced. Regardless, we will go back the food was great! GUYS, if we are going to pay $200 + for dinner…. dress up for your date!

Unique dining experience situated upstairs at a mercantile. Love the “hole in the wall” feel. The price per plate is certainly a good value. The food is slightly higher-end than the atmosphere, which makes it a great place to bring your out-of-town friends for a casual brunch. Service is usually great. Oh, and they have a private room for parties.

We came for date night and had the best one yet. TJ is a talented chef. We had the quail, red fish, crab cakes and cheesecake. All Amazing! Service was great from the hostess, the bar in the lounge and the server. Hands down best old fashioneds. The atmosphere is so wonderful. I could go on and on! Go now! You’re missing out if you don’t.

I’m giving it two stars only because the menu looks delicious and I was excited enjoy my anniversary there. However, I ended up walking out. Upon arrival we were greater by the host who was very kind and professional. However, once we were seated and given water we remained seated at our table for approximately 15 min. Without being acknowledged by the 3 servers walking around the restaurant. I watched as one delivered food to a table and the other two chatted over removing plates and silverware from another. I even made eye contact with one of them multiple times expecting some sort of acknowledgement. Again, nothing. My husband and I ended up leaving and going to good ol’ Texas Roadhouse due to the limited options that we have here in Sherman. I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service that was presented. I come from many years of working in the fine dining service industry and it’s a shame to see the lack of respect as a guest that was presented to tonight. I hope this message reaches the owner or general manager and that changes are made.

A culinary experience! Wonderful and different menu. Delicious desserts! The service is excellent. The wait staff are helpful and know the items on the menu. The atmosphere in the old hotel is serene. My husband and I loved our meal here and will be going back. Be sure to make a reservation if you’re planning on going around a holiday or weekend.
