Wow, this is truly excellent food! Top 2 best restaurants in the area Penn Hills/Monroeville, maybe the best. If you are anywhere near it, come to Fun Asian Bistro! I was very pleasantly surprised with the prices, flavors, and portions. I ordered the vegetable spring rolls, a Philadelphia roll, and a Pittsburgh roll.

I love Fun Asian and the food has always been great, but almost every time I’ve ordered sushi, I get sick to some degree. It’s a shame because I truly enjoy their food but I don’t frequent establishment as often now. Order cooked sushi just this past Friday and I’ve been sick all weekend. It breaks my heart!

Love it here! Always order take out and they prepare it so quick! The only suggestion i have is to allow a substitution of the spring roll instead of soup when it’s included in your meal, since the price is the same. But they don’t let you. The edamame is always steamed perfectly, not over or under done. The lunch special is a great deal and overall the prices are very fair. Love it here! It’s also nice for a sit down dinner! Great food and great service. Will be back!

Ordered chicken fried rice, received chicken fried hair. There was also hair in the general tso’s chicken. Receiving hair in any food is unacceptable no matter the quality of restaurant, and on top of that multiple dishes contain hair? That’s an automatic zero from anyone with any sense. How can you charge $13+ for one food item and send things out with hair in them? You can’t afford a hair net? I won’t be ordering again.

This is the best kept secret in Penn Hills. If you want great sushi, tai or Asian food that is not drowning in sauce this is the place to go. The outside always appears to look like it is closed but go and open the door to find a wonderful clean atmosphere. This place is like eating at a farm to table for Asian cuisine.
