In my travels, I’ve eaten at places that were falling apart on the inside and finely polished on the outside. The real gems are the hole-in-the-wall, out in the middle of nowhere and a little run down that are killin’ it in the kitchen. This is that place! Excellent food and excellent service. Just what we needed to finish out the last leg on our cross country 18 hr+ trip!

Perfect Route 66 diner spot with options: burgers, sandwiches, steaks, New Mexican dishes, and what I had, which was the chicken fried steak with green chile gravy. I could only eat half of it. Very generous serving. Attentive service. The river walk across the street was neat (but we’re in a drought so not much water).

Do not waste your time. For some reason they think they can justify $20 for a double cheese burger and some chips. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t THAT good. The menu online shows $12 for the double bacon cheese burger, buy they sprung the $6 for the second patty when I went to pay. Ridiculous.

This is off the beaten path and wouldn’t have known about it except for Google & reviews. Can’t speak about all of their menu but the Carne Adodoba bowl & huge burrito that we had were fabulous! Excellent customer service. The queso we ordered has green chili & small cubes of beef on top of the very thick tasty queso. Only draw back was the bathroom. Usable but not the best.

Husband had a Burrito (which was 9 outta 10)! The deep fried BLT was good looking, but bacon not cooked enough for me. The staff was WONDERFUL, understood how I felt and gave me a new BLT with crispy bacon. The chipotle mayo was a good kick to my regular BLT. We highly recommend this restaurant
