I was honored enough to meet Gabriela when we visited. She’s sweet, caring and kind. Like a mother making sure you’re comfortable in your surroundings. We were starving for some authentic Mexican food and we had read the reviews and conveniently Gabriela’s was right down the road from our Airbnb in Camp Verde. The servings were ginormous and absolutely delicious! All of us took boxes home. Honestly, everything was delicious. We will definitely come back the next time we’re in the area (every Spring)! So save a place for us Gabriela because your good eats will have everyone coming back!! The elote corn is OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Our 1st time ordering for catering services and it was simply delicious. We had a RV Rally at Verde Ranch RV Resort and being that we traveled from Southern California we didn’t know who to hire for our Cinco de Mayo event……We saw great reviews on yelp and Google, so we decided to take a chance on Gabrielas. Gabriella is the owner and she did us right; we ordered 2 beef taco trays 2 chicken enchilada trays, rice and bean trays and all were absolutely delicious. Gabriela takes pride in her authentic Mexican cuisine with her hands on experience, and you can see and taste the authentic quality of her Mexican food……Thank you Gabriela from the Rainbow RV Rally group and Tim and Greg.

I’m so very glad I stopped into Gabriella’s. I was out for a shopping day around the Verde Valley and hadn’t had lunch yet. I’m not well familiar with Mexican food and the menu is extensive! Gabriella was a dear guiding me through the menu. I’m not particularly tolerant of hot, spicy foods and was very pleased with my selection of beef enchiladas with green sauce. The beans were not bland and mushy like you find at other restaurants — they were very nicely seasoned. Everything is freshly made on site. Service was quick and well organized for dining in, ordering at the window or picking up an order called ahead. The space is tastefully decorated and very clean. I would very definitely treat myself to Gabriella’s again. Highly recommended for a quick stop off of the highway.

This restaurant is clean and organized for efficient counter service. I ordered a veggie burrito and was given complementary chips and salsa right as I sat down at a table. It took about 10 minutes for the burrito, which was large and included a tortilla that was obviously of the home-made variety. The filling had a good combination of flavors. I would not hesitate to stop here again on my way between Flagstaff and the Phoenix area.

Delicious burritos. Great customer service. Speedy, clean, and the woman who took our order checked on us twice. I loved the chips and salsa. The chips were thick (my preference), (guessing house made) and crunchy. My fav. My husband had a great fish burrito and my green chili one was super, too. Tasty tortilla. Reasonably priced ❤️

+JMJ Wednesday 14 September 2022 First visit to this restaurant. Very friendly staff. Cheryl took my order after introducing me to their ordering protocol. They do have signs, but I walked past all of them. The menu is hughly extensive. I selected a brunch item: Carne Asada con huevos (beef chunks topped with 2 eggs). As can be seen by my photos the meal was magnificently presented, very hot and came with Chips, corn tortillas, and all levels of heat salsa! Wow! And, the attendant brewed a fresh pot of cofee. The coffee was perfect for my taste: not too weak nor too strong. Meal presentation was a mouth watering eye full with servings of the Carne Asada, Spanish rice and refried beans enough for 2 to 3 people (I was solo.) For me, everything was seasoned just right. No need to add additional seasonings. Except, just a dab of the hottest salsa was placed on the carne. Delicious but it did make me cough which usually happens with hot seasonings. And, that is not a bad thing for me. Something else about this visit was the background music. All in Spanish, which set the South of the Border ambience. I had arrived just after 1040 am and found a steady flow of customers (some regulars by the exchange of conversations between the staff and customers). But, there wasn’t hectic energy even though there was only one person taking orders and another working the drive thru window. I would highly recommend a visit. The menu is quite extensive and, as mentioned by the owner who stopped by my table, there are even special dietary selections. Gluten free too! Great restaurant for a delicious meal. Blessings!

On a couple of trips from AJ to Flagstaff, we stopped here and ordered through the drive-thru. The food was excellent, as good or better than anything I’ve had in the Valley. It is easily reached from the highway, with quick on and off the exit. It would be worth the trip just to eat there, without having any other reason for the trip. The service was excellent. Hopefully, next time, we will have time to try the indoor dining. An excellent destination for a Sunday drive.

We stayed at the Verde Ranch RV Resort and got delivery from Gabriellas twice. Both times the food arrived hot and was fresh. The delivery driver was very nice.
