What a great experience. The service was very professional. The staff was very well organized and move the guest through very efficiently without feeling rushed. From the bread to the desserts, the food was top notch. Make sure you get your reservations early in the day as they have a multiple hour wait otherwise.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Gaido’s seafood restaurant, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience for seafood enthusiasts. Gaido’s mastery in preparing their dishes left a lasting impression, making it a must-visit destination for those seeking seafood perfection.

Unbeatable food, atmosphere, and service. I have never had seafood as good as this. I highly recommend the Red Snapper with pecan crusting and lump crab added. Even the bread that we started with was an experience. If you’re in Galveston you absolutely need to come here!

The food and service were great! We come on our anniversary every year. Only complaint, which is partially our fault, was that they threw away our leftovers. We left it on the table but realized and we’re back in less than 10 minutes. They had already thrown it away. It’s obvious that someone forgot their food and would realize at some point, I think they should hold onto it for at least 10 minutes. It was probably $30 of food they just tossed immediately.

Visiting Galveston and heard about this place from some locals. The wife and I had a fantastic meal, drinks, and service. Even gave us free dessert because it almost our anniversary. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were impressed. The beach view was fantastic, and the restaurant was very warm and inviting. We were served by Erik on his second ever day at Gaido’s, and we had so much fun interacting with him! The food was outstanding as well, from the crab cake (which you MUST have) to the daily special and crawfish pasta. The only negative at all was that I thought the bread pudding was a little too dense for my liking, but that’s the mother of all nitpicks. Gaido’s is an incredible experience!

Gaido’s is a traditional restaurant on Galveston island with a amazing history. The food is amazing and the atmosphere historical. The 50’s style jazz playing softly in the background. The presentation and the delicious food is what makes the visit so grand.

I highly recommend this place for dinner, the atmosphere is amazing and great service. The only thing I would say is when I made my reservations online I specifically said to be seated somewhere in the corner and they sat me completely opposite of what I requested. Other than that, the food was so good and you must ask for Kevin to service he was top notch!

For my birthday, our family decided to rent a beach house in Crystal Beach AND the immediate consensus of where to eat on my birthday was at Gaido’s. This has been a family favorite of ours whenever we have been in Galveston. We made reservations for 7:00pm for 7-people & requested a quieter table. We were seated immediately & we greeted by our server, Alan as we were being seated. He was amazing & the food was exactly what we anticipated – delicious! We thank y’all for the perfect table & Alan, you were wondeful!! (P.S. We got a dessert ‘on the house’ for my birthday – there was enough Chocolate Mousse to share!)
