Destination dining has come to King City, Oregon! This new little Italian restaurant has a great chef/owner. We went for an anniversary treat. My husband got pork medallions that were perfectly prepared. My penne pasta and chicken in a white wine lemon sauce was wonderful. We split the signature dessert, Deconstructed Cannoli, which is great. My husband is a retired pastry chef and culinary school instructor and he loves good cannoli. So he was fascinated by this original concept, beautiful plate presentation, and yummy execution. (full disclosure, hubby’s old school and asked the chef to hold the gastrique, so we didn’t have the full experience, but if you, too, are old folks, you may like it his way, which is a little less adventurous and modern).

I really wanted to like this place! The lasagna should be called “our version” cause it definitely does not resemble a piece of it. 3 inch square of noodle with bland meat and a bowl of cheese is a sad example of Italian excellence, and the pork medallions are thin cuts of pork chop maybe Center cut but definitely not medallions. Will not be trying again …. at least the bread was good.

The food here is good and the serving size is generous- I got the bolognese as a daily special and it came with cheesy bread. Service was a bit on the slower side but was friendly and accommodating. There are lotto machines, I assume to compensate for the rent, as the prices on food are very reasonable.

New, cozy restaurant. 4 booths and a couple of tables and a window counter seating with a couple of stools. Bar at the back and video lottery games. Food was *very* good but I knocked one star off because 1/3 of the place is taken up by the video lottery games and partitions. This totally kills the ambience (big lighted sign) and makes the place feel cramped. Personally I wish they would oust the games and put in more booths!

Great food, awesome people & service the way we remember (us old folks…) Been there several times (dine in and carry out) and never disappointed. IMHO the gambling area while not fitting the overall atmosphere, pays the bills and allows for such great food and service at reasonable prices. Just smile and eat your pizza!

So glad we found a new restaurant to go to that we love. Going back again today and we were there just a couple days ago. Have already told a lot of friends about it. I see someone complained about the video poker machines, but they don’t bother me AT ALL! They would probably complain about the prices if the income from the poker machines didn’t offset their expenses. It’s hard enough to make it in business with all the rules you have to follow ❤️LOVE THIS PLACE❤️ Had pizza and a wedge salad on our second time there. So good!!

Fun family owned business. A hole in the wall with amazing food that takes you by surprise and keeps you coming back for more. Definitely the best Italian food in town. Can’t recommend it enough and if you’re in, I would always recommend the special.

My husband and I loved the food at Gambino’s Italian Cafe. We were told the food was good but we were extremely pleased to find the chef was outstanding! This was the best meal we have had in the Tigard area! Welcome to King City and now we will be regulars! Yummy!
