A new sports bar/grill conveniently located at the Motel 6 Avoca, Iowa on I80. Large roomy sports bar/grill restaurant with 6 screens. I ordered a carry-out chicken fajita quesadilla, which was really tasty and delicious at a value price. I definitely recommend both the motel and restaurant!

Took my son here after a track meet. Everything was great! Jalapeno poppers were perfectly cooked, more than most locations would give, though they were diced jalapeno inside. Chicken strip basket with waffle fries was also perfectly cooked. Best waffle fries I’ve ever had. The meat vs meat pizza was also terrific. It was a lot of food for the money as well. I thought with 2 appetizers, we would each have room for a couple slices of pizza and then we could take the rest home. We didn’t even finish the appetizers and were only able to eat 1 slice of pizza. Turned the oven on 400 the next day and reheated the pizza for 10 minutes. Perfect!

We arrived around 8:10pm and went to this place to eat since it said it was open to 10pm. I asked about a burger which the cashier explained only to later chuckle that they no longer were making burgers. My wife asked for the pulled pork sandwich only for her to ask the cook who said ‘no’ to the pulled pork. So, we asked for the chicken wrap which she later explained that the grill was already turned off for the grilled chicken for the wrap. Thats when I got the hint, too lazy to turn the grill back on. So, we had to pick whatever that could be fried which were the wings. She still got our order wrong and forgot the Mac n cheese. So after getting my order 25 minutes later, I went back to order it for my kids. She looked at me with a smile and said, “sorry the kitchen is already off. You should have ordered it sooner.” Disappointed and annoyed. Mac n cheese…really! I am Asian and took the hints that the cashier was being condescending and didn’t care too much for my business.

The food was not awful but not great. They barely gave me any fries and they tasted dry like they were frozen fries. My wife’s chop salad was just bagged salad with cold limp bacon thrown in. The kids liked their kids meals – Mac n cheese and pizza.

Ok. Our first time here. WE WILL BE BACK! We will be back and we will give the best advertising money can’t buy! We will speak well of them behind their backs! This place has amazing fish n chips. They are actual cod fillets. Not some processed, compressed crud. Very tasty. I’m not sure, but I think the coleslaw was made in house. My wife had the philly and said it was the best she had ever had. Everything was excellent! The only downside was that it was a little slow. There were some large parties though. There are six large screens to watch the games n stuff. The drinks were very good. Service was absolutely excellent! Very good food n drinks. Excellent service. Excellent bang for the buck! Highly recommended!!

Eaten here quite a few times and always loved it. The last 2 times have been so so. Was told our food order would be about 30 minutes today. Showed up 45 later to give them some extra time. Was told my ticket hadn’t even been looked at yet and it would probably be at least another half hour. Order food around 1800, food wasnt going to be ready until almost 2000, on a wednesday.
