This is a really cool gamers cafe right next to “limited run” games.

The Gamers Geekery and Tavern in Cary, NC is an AWESOME place to spend time playing a wide variety of games (pull out a classic, try something new).. oh and also you can eat and drink while you’re there (bonus!!) What better combo can you have?? We LOVE games but find that we spend the money to buy them and never find the time to play.. this place allows you to make an event out of it WHILE still being able to try new games! We loved it and will be regulars for sure (especially as our boys get old enough to play as well!!)!! Huge thanks to Lance for making the reservation process easy, and to all of the staff for their help and attentiveness!

It’s not gourmet but the Italian sandwich was actually pretty darn good. Kimchi green beans were interesting. Great selection of games, friendly staff! We really enjoyed playing Caper Europe.

Cool place but has challenging acoustics for the hearing impaired. Some noise dampening techniques would help. The game wall probably helps a lot already.

I’ve traveled to so many cities for work and go to game stores to make friends when I’m in a new city. Geekery is one of the most welcoming ones I have visited and *gasp* a bar! Lots of familiar and friendly faces and definitely made me feel less alone.

Took the family (kid’s ages 6 and 4) here to play games and eat lunch. We played Sugar Blast, Hoot Hoot Owl, and Trouble. We all had a good time. I had the Super Mario sandwich and mac and cheese, which was really good.

This was a fun place to spend and evening. The food was decent and they have tons of games to choose from. It makes more sense with a larger group since you pay a table fee, but we will be back. The staff were very kind and the place was well kept

My husband and I are board game cafe buffs, and this place has cracked the code!! Good food and snacks that are affordable, a nice drink selection, plenty of seating, and extremely friendly staff. We especially love the monthly membership option! Hands down the best spot we’ve been to. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys fun!

This place is a lot of fun, they have a wide variety of games. Only $5 per person, and if you fall in love with a game they are available for purchase! Me and my boyfriend played 2-player catan for the first time and it was so fun we had to buy it. Will be here again with a group to learn how to play regular catan. That game is around $60 by itself so it’s nice to be able to pay just $5 or I think $10 per table to play the game, we were here until it closed and were having so much fun! Definitely check it out if you love board games!!!
