We stopped for lunch at Ganesh Dosa after a chocolate tasting at the next door Manoa Chocolate factory and tasting room, service was friendly and fast, we got a classic dosa and a classic with mozzarella, with both chutneys, the both come with rasam (vegetable broth) , and we got a hibiscus tea and iced chai. All of the food was very good, as someone who eats quite a bit of South Indian food the flavors were spot on! Beacause they don’t use ghee in the masala potatoes they’re lighter, I like that they use less onion as well. Potatoes were well spiced and the Rasam was also lighter and less acidic because it had less tomato. The chutneys were good but could have been a bit spicier. Hibiscus tea was delicious and the iced chai was spicy, creamy, and really well done.

This is an amazing place to go for if you are craving for dosas. I loved the different concept of dosa chef makes, we ordered chef’s special and the standard masala dosa. We loved the dosas here. You can end your meal with garam chai or kombucha.

Amazing Dosa place! So happy to have my very first dosa experience in my life here. It was bigger than I thought which made me happy and satisfied. Nice and relaxing vibes inside, love the interior. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Definitely come back soon 🙂

What a great place – everything is gluten-free, but anyone would enjoy it. It was so hard to choose what to get. The Mediterranean Dosa with added avocado for $2 more was amazing. I am definitely coming back again before I leave the Island. I think I may have to get one to take on the plane with me!

The food here is very good. The restaurant is clean and sits in a corner of a small neighborhood mall that gives it a quaint feel. While dosa is something new for me, I really enjoyed the flavors and am glad to have found a healthy food choice that actually tastes good too.

My friend was hurt and at the ER. He’s never had a dosa in his life. You took my order at the last few minutes over the phone before closing and knocked my order out of the ballpark! It was made with Aloha, and if I may say so, tasted like Aloha!

Went in without any expectations and the dosas were really good. Perfect crispiness and the potato masala filling was pretty good too. Got to know that the owner learnt how to make dosas at an ashram in upstate NY and decided to spread the love. Would definitely recommend it if you’re in Oahu and craving South Indian flavors.

Avoid this place. As a person of South Indian ancestry, I have eaten many dosas in my life and this was by far the worst one. Dosa is one of my favorite dishes but this was burnt, dry, and bland. The sambar was bland and watery. The masala potatoes were just disgusting. Before offering bastardized dosa dishes to suit western palates (which much of the menu consists of), focus on getting the basics right. The place was empty when I went; this was very telling of the experience I had. I brought a date here and was ashamed that her first dosa was this one, she hated it too. The workers were nice, but that was about the only redeeming quality.

Wowza.. possibly the best masala dosa we’ve had, ever.. and to think one had to come all the way to Hawaii and find it in a secluded little parking area.. really enjoyed it and highly recommend this to all and everyone if you want something different.. great find..
