Such a cute space with friendly staff! I stopped in and picked up a Connecticut roll and side salad and enjoyed a Del’s lemonade. It was literally the most refreshing beverage I have ever had. While I wanted to savor my roll, I couldn’t help but inhale it. Absolutely delicious.

Love this adorable & delicious new Garbo’s location! The frozen lemonade is a must-try! I’ll be getting it all summer long. The food and staff are wonderful too! I love that it is a family-owned / woman owned business. The walk-up window and to-go case are super convenient too. Don’t miss the beautiful wall paper in the bathroom. So happy to have this downtown location of Garbo’s!!

garbo’s on lamar is worth it if you’re nearby and craving some seafood. it’s on the pricier side. the lobster roll is pretty good but a side of kid-size chips and the awkward interior does not justify for $30. also, i found it strange only frozen lemonade is available.

3 words. FRESH MAINE LOBSTER! These lobster rolls are the real deal y’all! But honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The Fish Sandwich, the Caviar, the Crab Roll, and my favorite the smoked Mahi Dip. The staff works so hard to make you feel at home in their cozy little restaurant and it shows. This location has only been open for a few weeks. But I can tell that this will absolutely become a downtown Austin staple for years to come. Get you a roll ASAP!

The food is absolutely incredible, the staff is kind and welcoming. The price though is ridiculous. I understand it’s lobster therefore going to be on the pricier side, but $112 for 2 lobster rolls and a spicy crab roll that only come with a tiny bag of chips or side salad blows my mind. I don’t think I’m able to justify coming back at that price, no matter how good the food is. At least consider offering a fountain drink or two sides at that price point so people feel like they are getting their money’s worth.

Found their truck at Barton Creek farmers market. We were excited to try their lobster rolls. Unfortunately upon starting to eat one of the rolls we found part of a rubber band used for lobster claws. Very disappointed.

I have had many lobster rolls in my lifetime but Garbo’s remains at the top of my list. I wish I could eat there daily, but I’d need a second job. A lobster roll habit is expensive. The staff are darlings and I love their cute wallpaper in the bathroom.
