Our nugget history begins in the mid-1970’s, when the original owner, Lou Iandoli and his business partner opened Garden Poultry in the heart of Greenwich, CT. In 1978, grabbing hold of an opportunity to grow and expand, Mr. Landoli opened under the name of Garden Catering on Sound Beach Avenue; which is now known as our flagship location.
Sadly, Mr. Iandoli passed away in 1989 and Garden Catering closed its doors. Responding to the heartache of nugget fans everywhere, Frank Carpenteri Sr. purchased the business from Mrs. Iandoli, along with the secret recipes for Garden Catering’s famous fried chicken and nuggets.

Okay, I love garden catering. My family have been eating from this place for years. But every time my order is taken by Mike Paoletta, he ruins my whole garden catering experience. He clearly lacks professionalism and definitely doesn’t give a damn about offering the best customer experience. Every time he takes my order, he does not follow my instructions such as please make sure all pieces of chicken are well cooked, do not put seasoning on the chicken because one of my children is allergic to the seasoning, he places the wrong drinks and he even writes my husband’s name wrong every single time. This has been happening several times and I find it very disrespectful. With so many new places opening in Greenwich and offering similar menus, I would say good bye and good luck to Garden catering. You just lost a loyal customer.

Ordered a chicken cutlet with salt, pepper and ketchup, waited for 20 minutes, and they couldn’t even get that right. Put lettuce tomato, peppers, mayo and something I was allergic to on my sandwich. Easiest sandwich just blatantly done wrong and waited as others got their food before us who ordered after. Absolute joke

I’m typing this very full and satisfied. I haven’t been able to order a high school special in 15 years since going vegetarian. I was back in town with my boyfriend who had never tried GC before, so naturally I had to take him here for the full Greenwich experience. Little did I know they now have the cauliflower bites so we could both eat ourselves into full food comas. Only wish was they added a dash more seasoning, but honestly I’d take a bathe in that stuff I’d could.
