We stopped in for lunch on a cool, sunny day while visiting California and sat on the back patio. My wife and I split the Chipotle Chicken sandwich and Monte Cristo which were both excellent. She enjoyed the potatoes for her side and I ate the garden center salad, which was also wonderful. Last, but not least, we tried the peanut butter chocolate pie, which was rich and delicious. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was casual and relaxed.

Decided to try this new little Cafe while in town. Very impressed with the food. From the fresh squeezed orange juice to very juicy flavor ful sandwich. My friend ended getting crab cakes which by the way she said some of best she’s ever tasted. Coming back again for sure can’t wait to try more items on menu. Great service and great atmosphere as well ❤

First time to try the Cafe. Had the Lemon Basil Chicken sandwich with the garden salad for a side, with oil dressing. That salad was bursting with the most amazing combinations of flavors. Ate indoors, but the atmosphere is fine. All the wait staff is great, friendly and attentive. Sunday afternoon, pretty busy. Will come again. Give it a try!

Garden Center Cafe is a gem in the small village of Fallbrook, CA. We sat outside under in the shade and was pleasant with a laid back atmosphere. Pictured are the lemon curd french toast and sides of potatoes and over-easy eggs. Highly recommend making a stop for breakfast or brunch if only for that lemon curd french toast!

It was a nice lil place the food was good, however the service was very slow and unattentive. We waited 20 min to get a refill of soda and it wasn’t even our waitress that ended up bringing it. I don’t think it was personal. Just 2 waitresses for the entire restaurant. For the price the service should have been up to par. I don’t think I’ll be going back.

We had a really horrible experience at this restaurant. I traveled from mid US to see my 94 year old cousin, so we did brunch here. We all felt the food was mediocre, two of us ordered blueberry pancakes and one had blueberries on the plate one did not , had to ask for the food to be done as described . Four times they came to take the plates from us while we were still eating! Bathrooms filthy. We were seated by the door and could not hear each other over the kitchen and door noise, but manager would not move us after repeated requests. I said we would not be back and he said “I feel sorry for you”. I may be way off but I think that asking to be moved where you can hear is not a great request . So sorry we spent our only lunch together at this place.
