Having exhausted most of my energy one day, I decided to have my food prepared for me. I chose the garden deli. Their sandwiches were top-notch, and my daughter loved the meatball sub. The homemade soup was delicious, too. Thanks, Garden Deli!

The Garden Deli is a locally and independently owned sandwich shop in Freeport in the old DMV. They have a few different types of bread. The bread was fresh and soft. They slice the meet as you order. Ingredients appeared to be fresh and the sandwich was good sized in relation to the cost. They do microwave their sandwiches so that might turn off a few people. They make them fast and the owners were very nice. There is plenty of seating and the temperature inside was good. I would go back as there aren’t many dining options in this price range that isn’t fast food garbage.

We are visiting for work from Iowa. Went here and it was the best experience. Everyone is so nice and the food was very good and reasonably priced. Locally sourced meats as well. Recommend to anyone visiting or here that hasn’t tried them yet. Thank you guys for the great lunch!
