Hospitable staff serving delicious Mediterranean cuisine. Gorgeous décor, and in season the garden is open, allowing for Al fresco dining. No beers on draft but there are bottled beers. Clean bathroom. Unpaved parking in the rear. In October 2019 the Ulster County Libertarian Party convened here.

Lovely seating and hospitality by Taha! Just stopped in for a beer and a few dips with warm pita bread. I recommend!

Garden House catered our rehearsal dinner at Liberty View Farm last month and the food was DELICIOUS! Nahada and T provided an incredible spread with beautiful presentation at a very reasonable price, and delivered everything to the farm. Our guests are still raving about how incredible the food was and we can’t wait to visit the restaurant again soon!

This is a place where 5 stars are not enough! The food is incredibly good, and super fresh – everything is done right at the spot. The owners are beyond friendly. They heard we had a birthday girl with us, and they made the most amazingly delicious surprise cake for us. Big thank you for being such a great host! Can’t wait to try the pizza too!!!

This is such a hidden gem! We ended up trying their hummus and baba from a stand at the Kingston farmer’s market and couldn’t believe how good it was. We stopped in to try the rest and honestly, wow. The food is amazing and fresh. The garden seating is so sweet. You can also just sit and have a drink outside which is nice but the food! Can’t recommend enough.

The reception is wonderful, the services are 100%, the eastern and western food is irresistible, the speed in responding to requests, and the most important thing, the prices are acceptable to all. The most beautiful place to spend time with friends, family and evening parties. Thank you garden house and his staff

We ate here during the Rosendale Street Festival. That was a mistake. There were plenty of food trucks to choose from, and this place offered seating that was dirty with no service other than handing us the food. We were severely gouged when it came time to pay. $53 dollars for a couple falafel sandwiches and a small teriyaki for a child. The owner seemed to make up the prices in her head after we had eaten, based on manipulation and coercion. The owner seemed set on exploiting the festival for selfish ends while the whole fest is conducted in the spirit of giving, sharing and generosity. We are local to Rosendale and I’ll boycott the place until someone with integrity changes it for the better.

We had high hopes for this spot, as it had an interesting menu. Alas, hopes were dashed by a gluten free pizza served on thick, gummy and strangely fermented (to the point of tasting slightly spoiled) dough. Mentioned fermentation issue to the chef; she told us it was normal for gluten free dough (it isn’t, or at least shouldn’t be). Paid the bill ($23) and left most of the pizza uneaten. Despite the charming location, I wouldn’t eat here again.

If you’re looking for below-mediocre, overpriced food, this is the place for you. For starters, the falafels were burnt and so tasteless and dry, they were like eating sawdust. The lamb dish I ordered was about 80% bone and fat. The meat was hard to find. The entree my wife ordered was listed at $20 on the menu, but we were charged $28 for it. Oh…and the under-poured wine was a whopping $12 a glass. All in all, a ridiculously poor experience.

I loved the idea of this place because of the garden dining concept but was sadly disappointed after my lunch today. The garden was filled with old rusting furniture and odd creations that I’m guessing was someone’s attempt at art. Not only was the service lacking but I found the food to be mediocre and overpriced. The hummus was decent but a bit runny and had zero olive oil on it. We also got the halloumi salad that felt more like overcooked vegetables and old fryer oil on a bed of lettuce and to make it worse my husband and I both agreed the dressing had been watered down. This place was probably very good at one point but needs a serious reset.
