We came on a Monday night and luckily for us, the place was quiet. I say luckily cause it gave us a chance to speak with our waitress who seems to be one of the owners. The other owner is her husband, aka the chef!

Great weekly specials and a terrific taco Tuesday deal. Cool murals near bathroom. Wood burning fire place. Great patio in the warmer months. Giant window view into kitchen. Cool folks who are friendly and treat you like family. Great salsa bar with yummy sauces, freshly chopped onions and cilantro. Decent little bar with strong drinks at reasonable prices.

We found Gardunos after a hike in Glenwood Canyon and I am so glad we stopped. My kiddo and I ordered Tortas with a side of French fries. The options for Aguas frescas were Jamaica y Horchata. I always ask if these are made from scractch/humedades VS the machine or Powder mix stuff other restaurante offer. I can confirm Gardunos aguas frescas son caseras. They also have Café De Olla. Which if you haven’t tried before do your self a favor and try some café de olla. We sat out on the patio and the area was clean with great light and the music was on point! The gal that was helping us out was very sweet and kind. The food came out to our table very quickly! Overall a great visit for our group. We live in Denver but will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips around the area or for road trips on i-70
