I’m never one to complain ,but this has to be the absolute worse place I’ve ate at. You don’t get napkins ,the food comes out cold. The mashed potatoes were the most awful thing ever didn’t even look like mashed potatoes an they tasted even worse an the server Shauna only wanted to come around when she assumed we were ready to pay no other time did we see her honestly but she came 4 times an asked were we ready to pay

I’ve lived in Jasper my entire life and eaten here countless times. When the Jasper Mall used to be great (JC Penny, KB Toys, Sneaky Pete’s, Chick-Fil-A, Subway, K-Mart, The Peanut Shack, etc.), Garfield’s was one of the best places to eat in Jasper.

4pm, one of the only tables with people. They seem to have forgotten we were there. We finally ordered: 2 burgers and a seafood platter. Both burgers were cooked well done. In their defense, we weren’t asked and suffered the consequences of not saying. The fried player seemed good. But it took 30 minutes or so to get our food.

Nice little place in the old jasper mall. Decor is cool inside though the outside needs updating. Food was pretty good nothing spectacular but their quesadillas were good for a pub style place. Service was excellent and quick.

After being greeted by the “friendliest” greeter ever, we were promptly seated and told our server would be over in a moment. Literally 10 minutes later, and after the “friendly” greeter walked by no less than 4 times, I decided to stand up and have a look around. The restaurant was less than 25% occupied at best. Probably because we got there at 4:30 for an early dinner. I was making the decision to just leave because that was an unacceptable amount of time to sit idle without at least being greeted by wait staff. As I looked towards the kitchen counter area, a nice young lady developed a shocked look on her face as she covered her mouth and said to her fellow staff that she didn’t know she had a table. Nevermind that she brought waters to the table next to us and must have not noticed us sitting there. But I digress. She immediately came over and took our drink and food orders. We ordered 2 burgers and the seafood platter (a fried mess of shrimp, fish, and fries… It is what my wife wanted). It took another 30+ minutes to get our food. Meanwhile, we watched 2 tables that came after us, get their food before us. Then when the food arrived, we were too hungry to care that the burgers had the taste and texture of corrugated cardboard. The patties were so over done, we probably could have used them to play hockey. And I’m fairly certain that a kids meal comes with more fries than we got combined. I hope this was just an off day for the staff, but never the less, I will not be returning to this establishment.

First time there, and although their a bit pricey, they also know how to treat you right, and their portations are good size! Several their sampler appetizer and liked chicken quesadillas, mozzarella sticks, and fried pickles were very good! Had a Philly steak and cheese that could only eat half. Their cheese cake with strawberry topping was excellent, too! Our waiter was very fast, hardworking and witty too! Will definitely go again!!

I have always loved this place and it never has disappointed me until today. First the server forgot to turn our order in. The guy that came in after we ordered eat end was gone before we got our appetizer. Was shorted some of my platter but it was brought out a few minutes later. Food was good but no where near what it always has been. When I paid I was shorted $3.xx in change so I figured that was sufficient for a tip and left. Hopefully things will be back right there before too long because it’s a fantastic place.

I got the Mac and cheese with chicken, I added grilled shrimp. And my wife got the bourbon chicken. Fantastic flavor. Her mashed potatoes were cold but they fixed that!!

It took almost 20 minutes to have our order taken. After 20 minutes of waiting for appetizers our waitress said she didn’t turn our order in. Another 20 minutes we finally got our food. I had to ask twice for the bread that went with my meal. I’ve never had a problem here, but after today I will never go back.
