Very friendly at the beginning. After we were seated I was overwhelmed with the strong smell of cologne from my server. Ignored it at first. Environment was setup to to fancy but the dress of server was not. Took our order in a timely fashion. Chips and cheese was amazing. I ordered tamarind as my drink and I have to say it was the best I have ever had. I’m used to the powdered instant version. It was actually homemade! Very satisfying. When our food came the first thing I noticed was that when i took a bite all i could taste was cologne. Second thing was that my protien was wrong I ordered beef and got pork. Prices are pretty well matched up for the quality of food. Will visit again. Just a tip to the server a little goes along way.

We ate there for the first time today and it wad amazing! It was authentic food and it was hard to decide what to order. My husband had the special that came with chicken, steak, abd bacon wrapped shrimp. The shirmp were sooo good. If you drive Hwy 77 you have you stop!

New Mexican restaurant. White cloth napkins. Previous restaurant had cloth bandanas for table cloths. Prices varied from a couple of dollars to almost 20. I had the shrimp fajitas. It came with four shells. There was lots of shrimp of what I think was good quality. White re fried beans with white cheese on top. Rice and with the shrimp was onions and peppers. I was initially there about 10:40 and they were ready to serve me lunch.

The service was horrible. They charge for chips and salsa…..never heard of that before. I had a beer and my wife had water. Never even got an order in or served. We left after 30 minutes of waiting. It’s not worth the drive. DeLeons is the way to go.
