My first visit, what a great family feel to the place. Food came out quick and staff was friendly. Food was more than I could eat, took almost half of it home. It tasted great too. Will be bringing the family here for lunch or dinner soon! Place has been here a while. Kind of hidden in the south east side of Jewel and Garrison. Worth looking for.

This is a fabulous little mom and pop vibe place. The restaurant is a little older but it has this really nostalgic feel. The server was so kind and accommodated my food allergy beautifully. Their spaghetti plate is an excellent vegan option, you can choose between the basil sauce or the spicy basil sauce. Comes with a side salad and bread as well. Vegans grab the Italian dressing- it’s dairy free and so good I used the leftovers on my bread. The pricing is very reasonable, especially for pasta made in house. I really enjoyed it, and I’ll definitely be back! Next time I want to try their minestrone.

Older Italian restaurant with really good sausage sandwiches! Like Dino’s used to make. I went for lunch and had house Cabernet, garlic bread and a sausage sandwich with cheese. Everything was so delicious! Service is always excellent. Very small place with old world ambiance!

We stopped in for a quick bite. Ordered their spaghetti and veal. They DO make their own pasta. The service was friendly and fast. I wish the sauce was a bit tangier or spicy, but it’s definitely a good hole in the wall. We love supporting small and local restaurants. We will be back to try more things on the menu!

I love these neighborhood ” hole in the wall” type places. It’s family owned it’s been around for 52 years. The food is outstanding. The service is attentive, and Julie the owner loves to socialize with her guests. Definitely try if you get the chance. Sausage Sandwich with cheese and Chiles is just one dish recommended.

This place is my favorite laid back, lunch time, anniversary going, birthday celebration, homemade pasta having place to eat! Bern going here since I was 12 and I absolutely love it. Nothing on this menu disappoints, but definitely order a bowl of minestrone an eggplant STAT! Don’t like pasta, settle yourself down with the sausage sandwich and natural cut fries. Don’t forget to add cheese and green chiles.

I’ve been eating here for 15+ years. The food is just as good as it was when I was a kid. Definitely get the minestrone soup. Pasta is homemade. You really can’t go wrong with any dish here. My favs are the eggplant parm and the Italian sausage sandwich. Their sausage pizza is super yummy too! Oh and the gnocchi I had for the first time this time. Holy smokes! So fresh and so good. It melts in your mouth!!!! I LOVE this place and you will too. Just go.

Food was really good . We were surprised. Coming from San Diego food was a taste of home. I ordered a Bourbon straight up and got it Loaded with ice. That was the only complaint. You like good food go there.

Ordered veal and spaghetti. Had to ask for bread that was supposed to come with dinner, had to ask for utensils, ask for the soup that was supposed come before dinner, never offered a refill on drinks, could hear the staff conversating just out of sight while i got little service. The pasta seemed homemade. Very thick for spaghetti but homemade is good. Soup was not great. Orzo and minestrone broth. If there was veggies they were cut so small, or turned to mush in the boiling soup. Just overcooked orzo and minestrone broth. 3 pinto beans in the bowl. I don’t mind beans in the soup but overall not good. The broth had good flavor. Breaded veal was disappointing. Is it breaded in house? Ive had better breading and texture on frozen microwave dishes. And why use pre-sliced cheese? It doesn’t melt or taste as good because of the processing and starch on the cheese. If its not Sunday, head up the road to Cafe Jordano. They are great, and always packed because of it. If it is Sunday, check out Fiddlesticks sports bar, or Mannings on Alameda. Mannings has a couple great pasta dishes if you want pasta.
