Stopped by after reading good reviews. What a gorgeous location. We sat on the lower deck outside. The view can’t be beat ! My hot honey chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious. My daughter had the tenders which were hand battered and golden brown. My hubby had a burger and loved it. Only complaint is the slice of cheese on the burger was $2.00 and the slice of bacon was $3.50 and it was $4 to sub the chips for fries. Service was wonderful and we hope to come back someday !

Delicious! We went today with our young daughter and enjoyed our experience. The staff were nice, the views were great. Bathroom and restaurant were very clean. My husband got fish and chips and he loved it. My daughter, a toddler, had a quesadilla. They have high chairs and also small cups with straws. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich. It was very good but very spicy. I probably wont order it next time just because of how spicy it was but the overall taste was nice and fresh. Highly recommend.

Since Garwoods is an almost 2 hour drive each way for us, we only go twice a year in the summer but we absolutely love going there to eat outside on one of their lovely decks overlooking Wolfeboro Harbor. Their food has been consistently good and we especially love the beer battered chicken tenders – they are the BEST we’ve ever had.

Lovely food – try the salmon. And the team there are so friendly and efficient. You have a lovely view over the lake which was nice even though it was raining when we went. 5 stars!

The view was amazing snf the staff friendly, but the food left a lot to be desired, unfortunately. The lobster bisque had 1 small piece of lobster and the burger was overcooked and bland. My friends fish and chips was pretty decent.

Garwoods is back! Vastly improved food quality. We have been to Garwoods many times and has been a favorite destination over the years. It has always been as much about the location, views and lakefront atmosphere – food was just part of the equation. However, in the last few years we noticed a steady decline in the food to the point that no amount of location and views could overcome it, we sadly debated ever returning. Saturday, we decided to bring friends with us in hopes it wouldn’t be that bad. Wow! New items on the menu were excellent as well as items that had always been there. One guest had the ribeye steak with chimichuri, and stated it was the best he ever had, another thought the lobster roll was top notch and not slathered in mayo typical of inferior versions, and it certainly looked ample to me. Everyone at the table was delighted with their plates right down to the home made potato chips, a vast improvement. Hats off to the kitchen, and bravo for the staff which has always been good. See you soon at Garwoods!

I have been to Garwoods many times, but today my drink surpassed all drinks I’ve had here before… I got a cold brew espresso martini made by Sonya (who is an excellent bartender/server, and so friendly!). The drink was made with locales brewed coffee from Lucas (check them out, too!), and topped with whipped Baileys foam. I believe that it is going on the summer menu, but just ask for it! Yum! Also- sit outside because the view is great.

Great location right on the lake. Nice place. My issue is the lobster bisque was watery and didn’t have much lobster. I sat at the bar and the service was OK at best. Not very attentive.

We went in there a week ago. We’ve been there a lot. It was very bad. We went on a Sunday. There was like five tables, not that many people. Got drinks. My drink didn’t even taste like what it was supposed to taste like returned It .waited about an hour for our food. Like I said it was like nobody in there. Alls I got was a sub. My boy got a burger. My wife got a chicken wrap or something like that and it took over an hour to get it. Very disappointed on the service. The waitress was fine but the turnaround on the food is very slow for basic food. I could see if it was busy but it wasn’t busy at all. Not really happy
