Casual. The chopped bbq beef brisket sandwich was good. The bbq sauce was very good. 2018, Plate came with onion, chips and pickles for 6.95 plus tax. I’m not much of a chip person and would of preferred one of there many other sides. An employee told me they fry their chips from scratch, (much like kettle chips) mine had an onion tang that was good. I believe the bun would have been better if toasted. Friendly service.

Very nice people. I walked in and everyone was friendly. Today’s special was catfish, my two sides cheesy potatoes and okra. I am real particular about my catfish, if it is fishy or taste like dirt…no thank you. This catfish is moist and flaky, as it should be. The batter is flavorful and crisp. Didn’t care for the tartar sauce…but I am not a fan of miracle whip.

Ordered the Rib plate, the ribs were dry and hard. They looked liked they sat in a warmer all day. Didn’t even eat them. Bake beans are from a can, nothing original about them, and potato salad was ok. Probably not going back. Not worth my time and money.

The chopped brisket was amazing. I don’t like a lot of fat in my meat, and there was hardly none. The barbeque sauces were also delicious. 2 pounds fed a family of 5 adults with some left over.
