I had Gasthaus for the first time, and we enjoyed our food. They had good German beers. The big pretzel and bratwurst were tasty. The pretzel was a tad salty, but you can just rub the salt off if you need to. I ordered the chicken schnitzel for my entree and really enjoyed it. For dessert, I had the German chocolate cake, which I enjoyed as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you enjoy German cuisine.

Authentic German food! Went with my German parents and they loved it – perfect Weiner Schnitzel, spätzl and red cabbage. The desserts were also fantastic. Highly recommend!

The place itself is super cozy and welcoming. Our server was more than welcoming and made us feel as if we were a part of the family. All the servers really know their stuff. The Sauerbraten is heavenly and perfectly done. The food melts in your mouth. If you’re in the area, it’s a must try. 10/10, would definitely recommend.

Authentic German cuisine served in a quaint converted house. The menu selections were extensive. Everything served was well prepared and delicious. Highlight was the German Chocolate Cheesecake. Will go back again, but seating limited – reservations are a must!

For an appetizer, we had the large Bavarian pretzel. It was served with a spicy mustard and butter. The butter was unexpected, but was surprisingly good. We’ve never had butter with a large German pretzel before. The pretzel was a bit salty, but it was good. We would order it again. For our entrees, my wife got the chicken schnitzel with potato dumplings and sauerkraut. She loved the schnitzel and sauerkraut, but was not a fan of the potato dumplings. I had the Black Forrest Plate: bratwurst, knackwurst, sauerkraut and spatzel. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Also, we both got a side salad with their cucumber dill salad dressing. We highly recommend the cucumber dill dressing.

I can’t claim to be well-acquainted with traditional German food, so I’ll defer to others on the authenticity of the cuisine at Gasthaus Tirol. That said, the food was delicious and generously portioned, and the experience FELT quite authentic. Our party of 4 enjoyed a variety of dishes, including some very tasty desserts. I especially liked the pork schnitzel. Our server was friendly and well-informed, if perhaps overworked a little too much to be as attentive as we would have liked. Overall we had a very nice meal and look forward to our next visit.

This cute restaurant is located in a quaint house. Our server Rachel was the only one serving and was amazing at paying attention to all the tables. The music is pumping traditional German music.

Looking for authentic German food – look no further than this gem. Gasthaus Tirol is the real deal and is tucked away in this quaint location where the exterior seems to almost hide the beautiful treasures inside. The renovated house is filled with tables in a very understated environment which is comfortable and homey but also offers a sizable bier garden out back. All of the delights of Germany are available – from pretzels, wieners, sauerkraut, schnitzel, potato dumplings, beer and so much more. But my friends one piece of advice you can’t skip dessert. We were out tonight celebrating our beloved SIL’s birthday and it was a perfect place. We were able to enjoy great conversation in quieter setting, never feeling rushed and with the best service. This is the place friends recommend to friends because you want to keep the secret to yourselves – so you’re welcome friends. Enjoy – Köche küssen!

Cool little place. I really wanted to like the food more than I did but it kind of fell short. Atmosphere is interesting and outdoor space nice! Beer is great!
