The best Arabic food I have had here and the closest to back home! The falafel, the hummus, the zaatar and cheese manakeesh, everything was delicious! The owner is the sweetest guy ever. He gave us our coffees for free, and a free plate of falafel! Best service and best people ever. We come from Arizona to San Diego a lot, and we will DEFINITELY be making this stop every trip. My first time trying Syrian food. The staff was more than gracious and patient. They were very welcoming and friendly. I loved the special saffron rice and the chicken kabob. I tried a cheese manakish and it was so tasty. I also tried a meat pastry that tasted of ground lamb, pretty good. I noticed a few other diners drinking a white milk type drink and asked a staff member about it. He recommended it and it was super delicious. It was a yogurt drink that tasted a bit sour and salty but very refreshing and I would definitely order again and I’ll be back to this place for sure. I can’t wait to try the falafel and their breakfast items.
