What an amazing find! Working in the Sandusky area and needed a spot to settle down and catch up on some work. Gathering Grounds is off the beaten path, and totally worth the trip. Attentive staff, reasonable prices, fast WiFi, expertly brewed coffee, and more! I really enjoyed the hour I spent here getting things done. They also have a cute boutique next door, and lots of fun things inside their store as well. I would completely recommend this place as a spot to just get a cup, meet with some friends, or relax/get work done while passing through. It’s conveniently off of Route 2, SE of Sandusky.

There aren’t a lot of choices along Lake Erie for good, small business coffee but even if there were, GGC would stand out as one of the best. Great, comfortable seating, chill environment, good selection and coffee so good it will make you all your mama! Gotta check them out!

Unfortunately after patiently waiting 10 min in line with the intention of ordering drinks for my entire car and having come out of my way to visit a locally owned coffee shop I left only feeling completely compelled to share my experience with an employee that should clearly not be working in a customer service position.
