I hate doing this. I sought this place out in Durango because the higher rated place was 1) closed, and 2) on the main drag, and 3) looked like a highly rated place on the main drag. So, let’s just say I did not get what I ordered, slowly, and a little short on frequency. I’ll skip the detailed review and let you decide to go or skip. What do I know, right?

Margarita wonderful. Spicy socal was perfectly balanced flavors. Salsa with chips very tomatoe sauce like. Got the 3 salsa sampler. Green tasted green but Not spicy chipotle. Very smoky but limited heat. Skip salsa. Green chili soup!! Pork was mouth watering flavor. Smothered Christmas combo burrito ample size but no flavors to write home about. Seems blanded for tourists instead of staying true to SW spicy hot flavorful dishes…margarita and some green chili stew highly recommended

After a long time of not visiting it seems they still have a good feel. Our server Autumn was the funniest server I have ever had. She was super kind and the food was just as nice. Would recommend to a friend. Remember tip well 😉

When I think of Gazpacho, I think of cold tomato soup from one of my fave brunch spots back home in Venice Beach. I do not think about New Mexican cuisine on a snowy spring day in Durango Colorado. But as soon as I walked into this 90s throw back, with upstairs, backrooms and private areas, that it would be perfect for our work party on Taco Tuesday.

Had a horrible experience.. my friend had a metal nail in her green chili burger – best we can figure they get premade burger patties. Still was really gross makes you realize how you don’t really know what’s in your food!!! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to eat here again, use caution when ordering burgers!

I would like to change my previous review from a 2 star to a 4 star. The food has greatly improved from my previous experience, as has the service. Our server, Autumn, was very kind, engaging, and knew the menu back to front. She helped direct me to the best items on the menu!

The restaurant had a live band playing outside singing rock from the 70s and 80s…. unfortunately the AC wasn’t working so they had the doors open. This made it difficult to enjoy our meal and talk (without yelling). The food was tasty and our server did their best in a challenging situation.

You don’t have to wait hours to be seated and they bring out the food FAST! The cuisine is authentic. Vegan friendly. Live music with great bands. The bar is a local fave with friends. Friendly staff, quick service always.

I have never been to a place like this before. The environment the people everything is all you could ask for! We took our little one in and he was treated just like one of their own. Shane and Sadie were the sweetest! And the fajita salad is TO DIE FOR!!! Go in and enjoy the “welcome to the family” environment. Thank you all for the most amazing experience. Like I said I’ve never been to a restaurant with so many genuine souls. They really care about their customers.
