Usually come here for the cowfoot they have some of the best around just come later on in the evening for it.. also the soup is good every time! Been going for years (some times hit or miss but more consistent then most Caribbean restaurants around) fry chicken here is great too almost like French fry chicken from yaad lol

I ordered large oxtails rice n peas with cabbage I wanted plantains but they were out. This was my 1st time back in Jersey in 17years I was craving some good Caribbean food and this did not satisfy my craving.nobody greeted me but was happy to take my $26 and atmosphere was a little dark /gloomy to tbh nothing like I expected. I’m assuming they ran out of seasoning because baby the food was bland as hell rice was watered down and oxtails had more fat than meat this was a major disappointment i read some reviews which states this place is hit or miss and baby it was definitely a miss I won’t be back here and won’t be recommending this spot to anyone

Food is excellent. Cabbage is fork tender, rice and peas with extra grave, legit. The only place you get 2 chicken breast, yes 2… and for all of those wanting service. Forgetaboutit.

I’ve been going here for years food is always good but I spent $30 on two small curry goat, the meat had no taste to it, It was like they cleaned the meat and put in the pot, and they gave me more bones than meat, it was not worth $30 I’m very disappointed, if I could score less than a one I would, it’s a -1

The food is very cheap, you have some very decent sandwiches at € 1.5, and a sandwich menu with extras starts at 8 euros, and you are extremely satisfied, the treatment is good and pleasant, they try to have a menu of varied drinks for for all tastes.

The food is great, service is absolutely trash. The workers talk an talk and barely give acknowledgement to customers waiting at the counter. I recall visiting and someone came inside stating they found a bug in the food and the server Suzette said “why yuh never carry the bug come”. That was rude and definitely out of place. I went again yesterday and I was told 30’mins for the food to be ready… I waited over an hour and all I kept hearing was the chicken is coming.
