I had the Fiesta for lunch, 3 enchiladas with rice and refried beans, and a beef taco. Beans were good, but the rice lacked seasoning. Cheese enchilada with chili sauce has onions, though it doesn’t say that on the menu. The food was pretty good. Only get chips and salsa, queso an extra charge. Overall, it’s not bad.

We had a horrible experience tonight. Took over an hour to get our food & one person at the table never received his meal. Ordered a second beer and 30 minutes later never received. The staff was about 8 to 10 people people & only about 8 tables total in the restaurant…not a busy night at all. The bartender stayed at the front desk & nobody seemed to have a sense of urgency. Our food was nothing complicated & should have all been pretty much cooked a head of time (rice, beans) smoked brisket tacos & etc. The tacos never made it to the table. The waiter, Carter was the only one that seemed to be working & cared about our table. We’re locals & not weekenders, we will not be back for a while.

Flip Out
If you’ve read any of our other reviews, you know we love good Mexican food in the Flip Out house. Gecko’s came up on the map and we stopped for lunch. We tried their white queso; it was rich and delicious. I ordered a combination plate with a tostada, an enchilada, and a burrito. It was all good and had great flavor. I asked if they had any spicier salsas, and our waitress brought us two. Each one had a greater level of spiciness; neither was spicy enough to keep us from enjoying our meal. Mrs. Flip Out had the chicken fajita street tacos and they were terrific. Little Flip Out enjoyed his taco. The decor was bright and festive; our service was excellent. Definitely a great place for Mexican food if you’re around Kingston!

I went there on 6/23 had to wait a few minutes before someone actually set us but it was busy which I didn’t mind the young man that helped us was very friendly and polite great food really I ordered the chili relleno and it was the rice and beans was really awesome had really great flavor would definitely recommend going back anytime

My 5th visit to Gekos will be my last after watching people sat down after us receive their food 30 mins before us, food brought out at different times. 4 excuses why the food is late, no offer to correct food prepared 45+ mins before the rest. Never Again
