The food definitely gave the definition of sole food . The place was small and really packed. A lot of people were there which gave a sign of good service. The fries were seasoned seasoned. I can tell a black person was back there cooking. It was a lot of food as well. I do recommend this place only for people who love highly over seasoned food.

This was a random chance coming here and oh my God the food was amazing!!!!!! Those candied yams where the bomb!!!! Geechie basket , it had Catfish,shrimp,chicken , hush puppies, I substituted the fries for yams. There was a lady here that waited 45 mins for the yams so I knew they had to be good!!!!

Excellent food. Don’t ask for salt or pepper. Everything is perfectly seasoned. If you don’t have an Auntie or uncle who can throw down, come to Geechies. They will give you plenty to chew on. No open on Saturdays but once you taste their food, you will understand, the hardworking staff needs a rest day! Awesome establishment.

Just tried this place only five mins from the house and Oh My Goodness! It’s delicious and the portions are bigger than expected. I’ve never had such good green beans, yams, and cornbread. We’ll definitely be ordering again.

Y’all, today we went to Geechie’s Southern Style Restaurant in Killeen, Texas and it was a taste of home, straight from the Lowcountry! I had a fine bowl of grits with yummy shrimp, but the best part was the three big ole pieces of catfish just packed with those good spices. Everybody had some fried chicken which were those yummy drummettes which took my tastebuds right back to the fellowship hall. My family loved the Three Sista Gurls chicken and waffles, the cornbread was fabulous and the collard greens could not have been tastier. You’ve got to try this place out! Come early, they get busy because the locals know where the good food is.

Definitely not friendly people but the food is good, but they have messed up my order and given my order to someone else and I theirs, the customer service is absolutely horrible . Every single time I call to try to place an order the person on the phone has a nasty attitude which I don’t even want to deal with nor be eating the food from someone who treats people so poorly. I’ve had to wait over 20 minutes just for them to give me my money back when they gave my order over to someone else. Maybe get someone to order the food that has a stern presence and won’t tolerate any disrespect and you might actually be able to enjoy the food!

We are South Carolinians who wanted good southern style food. We traveled 2 hours to make sure our taste buds were satisfied. The servers were very helpful when ask questions, the atmosphere was pleasant and the service was superb. The food was seasoned, tasty and delicious; everyone enjoyed their meal and our palettes were completely satisfied. Home cooked southern food home away from home. Food is on point but I know catfish taste like…lol can’t cover up swai fish with catfish from someone who eaten catfish all their lives. I would’ve given a 5 star just because of that. Overall it was seasoned to perfection green, cabbage, and yams gets a 5 star
