Traveling from Atl to dfw, my husband and I stopped here for dinner on a Monday night. We shared the crawfish empanada appetizer, a side salad and the seafood pasta which was plenty for two people. The food was tasty and good temp when it came out. The service was friendly. A bit pricey but in line with current restaurant trends. It has a good, varied menu.

Cute atmosphere. Clean restrooms. We enjoyed the Chicken Fingers and our friend enjoyed the Mushroom Burger. We had a very attentive waiter but, it took forever to get our food… ugh.

If you’re searching for a restaurant with fantastic food, drinks, quality service, and a fun atmosphere, look no farther than Genna Benna’s! If you’re dining in, make sure to ask for Katie! I’ve never had such excellent service. She was attentive, got every order correct, and served the entire time with a smile unlike any other. Each dish was cooked to perfection, and each drink was prepared to perfection! No request was too difficult, and no question went unanswered. I was extremely satisfied with my time here and will undoubtedly return! Maybe even tonight! It’s simply THAT good.

Love GB. Salads are great. They usually have a cobbler of some sort available. Peach is great as is the mixed berry. It’s a generous size and you won’t want to share, so save room. The pastas are excellent, though if you like a lot of sauce, ask for extra. The burgers and catfish are great.

First time eating here and it was SO GOOD. I got the bacon and queso burger. Ben got the shrimp po boy. It was phenomenal. Crisp Coca Cola. And Madeline was the best server. So sweet and on top of it! We will definitely be back.

I love my small town downtown restaurant! The dinners and burgers are all great, and the daily lunch specials are worth the return during the week. Salads are fresh, drinks are cold, servers are friendly, and the charm is to die for. The other diners always seem to be enjoying their experience too when I’m there. It’s a pleasure to bring family and friends for a visit when they’re in town.

Gennas came highly recommended so the disappointment was all that much more. A mostly empty Tuesday lunch crowd and still it took 30 minutes to get a pasta lunch special served cold. The gloopy cream sauce tasted like the can it came from. Others around us also waited for their cold fried catfish meals. I couldn’t imagine that the kitchen could keep up with a real crowd let alone a small group. The wait staff was mostly absent and had to be chased down. Pretty cool location and atmosphere to get disappointed in.

Our food was cold!!! Boneless wings were cold. Barbecue burger was bland and cold!!! Stacked hamburger stakes with brown butter mashed potatoes and mac and cheese cold!!! The only thing good was our mixed drinks and our waitress. She was super nice. Ticket was $2.00 from being $80 bucks and that’s not including a tip which we did leave. Needless to say I will not return. We could have easily gone to Lone Horn and had a very juicy and flavorful Prime rib for $80 bucks. First and last time.
