Was in my hometown of Sumter, S.C., and took lunch with my good friend Tommie Ardis. Had the smoother porkchops, yams, cabbage, and cornbread. Washed it down with some ice-cold tea. Love the home feeling, a little small but homely. The food was good, yet yams weren’t as sweet as I would like. Other than that, the service was great, but they need to get rid of that Navy guy. Lol! Will definitely return.

Genuinely the best food in sumter! Fried chicken was crispy and juicy without being greasy. I could live off their Mac and cheese. And don’t get me started on the peach cobbler. We got one to share and after one bite, we ordered a second!

10000/10 recommend!!! I got the fried pork chop with mac and cheese, green beans and rice and gravy and let me tell you… that food was SO GOOD. And try their banana pudding, it’s THE BEST I’ve ever had with chessman cookies in it.
