Food, atmosphere and the service was absolutely amazing. We split the porterhouse (38 oz steak) cream corn and sweet potato wedges for dinner. Our amazing waitress Amanda was kind enough to serve the steak to our plates. The steak itself cut like butter and everything was seasoned to perfection. The dessert was just as delicious as dinner. Beyond happy with our experience and can’t wait to go back!

Always a great meal there. I ordered the cowboy ribeye, rare. When the steak came I was a little disappointed. It was more medium rare than rare. I brought it to the waiters attention, but said it’s ok I’ll eat it the way it is. The quality of the steak was so good it didn’t matter that it was a little overcooked to my liking. Actually it was the best steak I’ve had in a while. Then as I’m walking out the waiter hands me a $25 gift certificate. Now that’s customer appreciation!

I have been coming here with my husband for years and I can’t believe I never left a review. We love it here. Dined last night for an impromptu weeknight dinner. Consistently great food, anything you order beautifully executed. The steaks are always cooked to the proper temperature with a nice crust. The seafood is always fresh. The classic steakhouse sides are just as they should be. Cocktails are nicely crafted. The servers are always attentive and know the menu. We enjoy the atmosphere.

Husband and I went for anniversary dinner. Showed up an hour early, they couldn’t sit us down till after 15 minutes after we made the reservation. Was a bit disappointed they sat us by the entrance to the outside and people kept coming and going with food, drinks, etc. I got over it because I didn’t want to wait any longer and they were most likely very busy. The food top notch like always and server was kind. Received a call afterwards about our anniversary was a nice touch and honestly made it really sweet. One of my favorite steakhouses in Long Island.

Amazing restaurant! I am out of state and my mom, who lives in Great River, was celebrating her birthday. On a busy night I called in a cc, told the bartender, and had a round of drinks bought for her and her friends and they executed the request perfectly. Sometimes convenience saves the day….George Martin’s is a convenient place for a steak dinner…fairly presented, capable service and interesting cocktail choices. Nothing really special and the service was not comparable to the menu price ( a key metric for me). But again, it was convenient to get to, last minute tables available and (standing almost in the entryway) some enjoyable live music. A bit dark inside and a surprising art selection for the walls. Came in to a full bar, exhausted and needing wine and food. Amanda immediately took care of me, even though no place at bar she brought me a glass of wine. She listened to my story and I eventually got place at bar. She came to say goodbye and remembered my name, my daughter’s and new granddaughters name. Very sweet and made my night. Really nice place with caring staff♡

I’ve eaten at a large majority of up scale restaurants in NY and Miami.. If your looking for an intimate setting this is the place. The food here is great. But the service and atmosphere is what makes it special. The crowd is also to be noted.. everyone is respectable and chilled out..Absolutely perfect drinks. Bartenders were super polite and efficient. Waitress was great.
