Not only did I almost get charged for another customers food, but the server actually tried to argue with me about what i had ordered! Thank god i had my receipt. My order was also wrong. I asked for no green pepper or onions and that was clearly ignored. On top of that, they charge a 15% fee because people don’t tip. I see why. If I could give it a negative score, I would. Threw it in the trash and ate the semi acceptable toast. I’ll be going to McDonald’s from now on.

George Webb used to be a Milwaukee staple. Now I see why this place is always empty. Walked in at 8:30 on a Friday night. The woman working told us it would be just a second as she was finishing an order. About 10 min later she came out from the back and told us no dine in. We then chose to place an order to go. When she rang us up, we noticed the total was higher than the advertised price. When asked why she pointed to a sign that was not in a spot you would normally look saying there was a 15 percent charge for carryout. So, you cant dine in yet you are charged for being forced to carry out? We paid the charge as we were craving their burgers. What we got were burnt, dry patties that we had to douse in ketchup just to get down, and what looked like the crumbs from the bottom of a bag of fries on the side with zero salt, that was supposed to be 2 orders put in one container. I will not be returning ever again. This is not the place I remember. It is a shame because they used to be so good. I will be contacting corporate regarding this.

The service was nice. Kind and friendly. My French toast could’ve been cooked a bit longer(soggy in the middle) but everything else was what it was suppose to be. Classic basic taste of all American Breakfast.

Honestly my favorite Webbs in the city. I go late morning breakfast 10 am-ish. Old school diner. Go a few weeks in a row and they get you dialed in. Cups never empty, food comes fast, staff is always friendly as hell.

Although George Webb is open 24 hours. They only offer carry out service through a application online. The prices are more expensive than one ordered in Person. The food quality has never Being great. During their late night hours the food quality is simply poor. It’s better to go without food than to go ahead and order late night carry out from any of the george webb restaurants that are open late. The only saving grace was that their chili has been consistent and is a fair quality. Ordering through their online service produced errors in the order that when I called the restaurant they said could not be resolved because I placed the order through their. Application online. I hope you don’t make the same mistake I did. As well I will never make that mistake again.
