George’s Restaurant has been here since 1961. They offer good old fashioned home cooking at reasonable prices. Their breakfast is always good and filling and it includes free coffee. The coffee is very good too. Like their lobster bisque soup on Fridays, and I’ve liked almost every dish I’ve ordered here. Don’t like their hamburgers too much because they taste pre-made, but that’s just my opinion. Their specials of the day are usually very good though. You can’t go wrong with most of the menu choices here.

Honestly, excellent service and great food. I’m not always impressed with diners but the food here was fast, fresh and plentiful. Our waitress was punctual and her service was appropriate. Just to test the waters, I had asked her if I could have sliced bananas and pecans in my pancakes (not on the menu) and she said, “Sure! I think you should try it with whole grain batter though.” Whaaaat?! Plot twiiist, she got ME instead.

Went there for a family lunch. The manager and staff don’t care about customer service. We were stated soon and waited about 20 minutes on table; an no one came to set up table or take orders. Service sucks, food is ok nothing special. I do not recommend this place.
