Georgia Boy is a multi-course, multi-sensory chef’s table experience created by Chef Joey Ward and located inside a private dining room accessed through Southern Belle. The tasting menu explores Ward’s creative mind, introducing the cuisine of the South through his inventive, colorful lens. A talented team of several well-known names in the Atlanta food & beverage landscape, including General Manager/Beverage Director Kevin Bragg, Wine Director Cate Hatch, and Pastry Chef KT Blackmon, help make the magic come to life!

It’s hard to reflect just how much we loved our Georgia Boy experience. Yes, it was super fancy like you would expect at a Michelin rated restaurant (which this could easily be), but it was the personality and overall experience that put Georgia Boy above the names you’re supposed to say are “the best.” The food was incredible, fantastic wine pairing, great narrative, amazing service and people, and very approachable. The voice-over risked being a bit too camp at moments, but after a couple glasses of wine our hair was down too and we were laughing as much as we were in adoration of the food itself. Bravo!!!

This was hands down the best dining experience I’ve had anywhere. The service was impeccable, there were some fun surprises thorough out the night and the dishes were thoughtful and well paced. Only complaint is that 15 courses is ALOT. Most people were ready to be done by 12th course. My husband enjoyed the wine pairings but the Zero proof pairings were the star for me. would go back just for those drinks.

I don’t know how this place doesn’t have more reviews! What a hidden gem! My friend recommended this place since she knows we are foodies. Bonus points that they have a zero-proof mocktail pairing menu, which is so unique- I’ve never seen that before. It was a 15 course blind menu. The whole experience was so fun, excellent service, fantastic food presentation (that actually tasted good!), and left feeling very full. 10/10.

Delicious! The communal tables are just the right size to engage with everyone. All groups that came in were chatting with everyone. However the food is phenomenal and on bar with some of the best Michelin star restaurants. If you need more wine they give you more! Well worth the cost and the visit!

This place was great. Very friendly staff. Fresh hot food even on a busy Sunday evening. I enjoyed the drinks, vibes, food and service. This is a great little spot with some really unique small plates which feature a wide variety of interesting spices and aromatics. I will return because I really enjoyed myself.

Georgia Boy is the real deal when it comes to fine dining in Atlanta. This is the only place in the city that I’ve found to really push the limits of taste through experimental concepts that are creative, thoughtful, and playful. Maybe not your everyday, casual dining experience, but I would absolutely recommend giving it a try next time you’re celebrating a special occasion.

We loved Southern Belle & it was a truly spectacular experience in Georgia Boy. I am vegan and chef Ward exudes just as much effort and thoughtfulness into the vegan food, instead of it being an afterthought. I really appreciated this as it’s a labor of craft and care. Everyone should be able to experience Georgia Boy once in their lives. Hands down the best experience in the Southeast for creativity, flavor profiles and pairings. We can’t wait to go back!
