Delicious Italian food in Torrington!!! The ambience is quaint and cute while the cuisine is delectable. Highly recommend the trio of crostini, which was unique with flavors!!! The entrees were very satiating and the dessert was delightful. The courtesy digestif made of myrtle berry was also a nice touch at the end of the meal. Do yourself a favor and check out this restaurant, it will not disappoint!

Old school Tuscan seaside. Imagine eating near Pisa at an upscale trattoria. Dishes an Italian mom or dad might put together. Atmosphere was friendly relaxed and servers and excellent. Food arrived appropriately. Choose an antipasto, salad, first plate and second for a lot of food. I went mussels and it’s crostini, a nice old school tuna, potato salad. And ended with a pasta dish similar to gnocchi but ricotta based. Came with 5 incredibly filling. Tiramisu is as light and not overlay sweet so very good. Cappuccino was good but can be improved. That was it. Well worth making this a stop for a couple or with kids. Small bar looked comfortable maybe 8 seats with side tables overlooking street. Outside seating 3 tables surrounded by flowers to separate from traffic. Parked across bridge but there is also parking in street.

Food was very flavorful and the service was exceptional. I like the fact that they don’t rush you while you are eating and having a fun time with family. the only complaint I have is how uncomfortable the chairs are! My butt was hurting by the time we were done

We were are party of 4 plus a 3 month old baby on 11/2. When we walked in I was immediately impressed by the decor while the host walked us to our table. Our waiter was Federico and he was polite, engaging and attentive. To start we ordered the Olive Miste, Cheese board and Artichoke. Some of the tastiest olives I’ve had and a wonderful array of cheeses. The Parm on the cheese board was outstanding too. I had the rabbit ragu, while others in our party had the pork chop, Spinach and Ewes and Fettuccine dish with seafood. Everyone thought their dinners were great. We had just returned from Italy and this placed reminded my wife and I of the great meals we had during our travels. Bottom line is Geppetto Osteria is a welcome addition to an underrated restaurant scene in Torrington and will not hesitate in returning.

We decided to try Geppetto on East Main in Torrington .We sat at the bar to enjoy a relaxing dinner. The Bartender made a very good expresso martini. The meat/cheese board appetizer was outstanding. My NY strip was tasty but could have been cooked to the medium I ordered. My friends fish was tasty but cold ♂️. We will be back to try it again sometime in the new year.

Loved it! Great atmosphere. Husband and I each got pasta dishes, the homemade pasta is wonderful. The dessert special, a chocolate flan-like dish was fantastic. Staff was great! Highly recommend for quality Italian.

OMG! Best meal ever!! Geppettos in Torrington. A friend highly recommended this place and we went to celebrate our 13th anniversary tonight. Everything was nothing short of amazing. From the appetizer, pasta, entrees ,the pork chop, lamb shank (sorry no pic) delicious dessert even the cappuccinos were the best. Highly recommend especially for a special occasion. Awesome atmosphere, great service and super nice and friendly owners. So happy we found this gem. You actually feel as if you’ve been transported to Tuscany!

Great servers, but the food was awful, the portions were very small, and although I made a reservation days in advance, they had us share a table with another party. The gnudi was very bland, had a bad texture, and I only received five pieces. This restaurant is a disgrace.
