A true Salem icon! My family and I have loved coming to Geppetto’s since the original owners ran the place. Roger and Julie carry on that original legacy masterfully! Our most recent visits have been typically outstanding–pizzas are absolutely the best in town! My wife had Chicken Marsala and I had Ravioli on our last visit, and both were amazing!! We plan to return many many times!!

We walked in on an evening I would say was very slow, stood at the podium waiting to be seated and just waited and waited several employees saw us and said nothing. Finally one employee said someone should be with you soon, again we waited. Same employee 5 minutes later repeats the same thing. Another 10 minutes go by same employee comes by again repeats exact same thing by this point the whole family has decided we will find another restaurant as we were clearly not getting even seated after 20 minutes already. We were very disappointed as we have eaten here in the past and enjoyed.

The food was very good tasting, we had the mushrooms, meatball sub, chicken Parmesan, Zeus pizza. The server said the pizza was really hot, but my hubby couldn’t wait to try it, and burnt his mouth , so when they say it’s hot, they mean it. We had a great visit!! Thanks

Absolutely friendly and knowledgeable staff. We ordered the shrimp Alfredo, Ma’s lasagna, and Ma’s ravioli; the food overall was delicious, savory, and rich packed with flavors. We did wait a little long for our food but it was def worth the wait. I def recommend this place !

Absolutely delicious, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and they don’t skimp on ingredients. The mushroom linguine was creamy and flavorful and packed with mushrooms. The chicken marsala was rich and the wine gave it a beautiful brightness. We went early and it got busy fast so don’t be in a rush if you’re going after 5:30

Older Italian restraint. Certainly more kitchen family style. Been in biz since 1974. At lunch on a Sunday they had one server so it was a bit slow coming out but the service was good. They have mostly traditional bread and butter Italian food as well as it looks like a hefty pizza take out. The food was good. Pasta prepared well and fresh. Meats were good. They have a house made chocolate mouse that was realy good. We had spaghetti and meat balls, shrimp picatta (big shrip) and sausage Alfredo. Portions were big and tasted good. The decor was outdated and dingy it was dark and the bread they serve is ok. Although I like the food the experience was meh..
