We enjoyed our coffee drinks in the shop. They have drive-up service which is pretty special for a coffee shop downtown. Lots of unique choices including coldbrew, smoothies and your normal hot drinks. The staff was friendly.

30 cents for lite ice in a coffee? Wow… Cute coffee shop in lower Alton though with a nice patio view if you go upstairs. Just gorgeous. Not the best coffee in town. Pretzel was good with the cheese. Great place to go do homework or hang with friends!

First time I went and got drip coffee I thought wow this is great, will have to come back. Second time I ordered coffee but the drip machine was not functioning so the barista recommended my coffee be made in a different way. I agreed but when she rang the bill up it was $1.50 more than what the normal coffee was which I found to be quite offensive so I canceled the order and left. Poor judgement I thought.

What a great spot! Larger than it appears from the outside. Courteous and helpful staff. New concept to Alton with their self service, you decide how much to pour in your glass craft beer. The have a real nice variety of craft beers to choose from with rotating taps and “tap take overs”. The second level outdoor deck can’t be beat for the view and comfort.

All germania locations have amazing workers that make me feel at home!! My only problem is that sometimes the taste of drinks is inconsistent. Seems that only some of the employees have the magic touch for drink mixing.

I had the most pleasant interaction in the drive through just now. The employee at the window was so nice and made sure I liked my 1st time Matcha before I drove off. P.S. The pistachio coconut matcha is amazing.

Hands down my favorite coffee shop. We travel a lot and I like to try small local coffee shops everywhere we go. Most are overly sweet or inconsistent. But Germania will get you the same drink every time. I love that they make a lot of their syrups in house- and have so many unique flavors. The staff is always so friendly and helpful! The blended drinks are not icy at all- perfect consistency to the last sip. I can’t stand the wax-y feeling or ice-y feeling of the Starbucks frappacinos anymore. If you’re in town- definitely check them out.
