Gerry’s Grill Menu – National City, CA

Type : Restaurant

Location : National City, CA

Here at Gerry’s, we aim to give everyone a pleasurable dining experience, serving only the freshest food ranging from Filipino favorites – Sisig, Inihaw na Pusit, Crispy Pata, Beef Kare-kare, Adobo Shreds to exotic cuisines.

I have always dreamt of putting up a place where everyone could hang out and enjoy good food. With my passion for cooking and love for grilled dishes came Gerry’s.

Although the original concept of my business was one where people could unwind with a drink or two, Gerry’s has become a family restaurant, too.

From opening its first store in Tomas Morato, Quezon City, Gerry’s has come a long way. With its continuous expansion nationwide, Gerry’s has also opened branches in the United States, Singapore and Qatar.

Filipino & Asian specialties served in a family-friendly setting with occasional live music. Based on 253 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 3.7 stars. Price

We got there 2 mins. before they closed and they still let us inside. Sisig was very good and the famous 5 + 1 beer & appetizer was awesome! Gloria, Riza & Marielle we’re amazing, they accommodate us very well. We’ll definitely be back there when in town!

Came for an early dinner on Friday and got seated pretty quickly. There was live music; a singer on piano. Loved it!!! Totally unexpected. I would never thought there’d be live music in a casual restaurant. The singer was great (think acoustic covers of your favorite 90s-00s songs).

Went here on Wednesday night around 6 pm, we had a group of 11 and we did not need a reservation. Got seated right away, and ordered pretty quickly. We ordered: Rice, Garlic Rice, Sizzling Bangus (Milkfish) Sisig, Pancit Canton, Crispy Pata (Pork Knuckles), Chicken Skewers, Bangus Ala Pobre, Pinakbet, Calamares, Sinigang na Boneless Bangus (Milkfish). My favorite was the Bangus Sisig with Garlic Rice, also nice to get an egg added to it as well. I also like the Sinigang na Boneless Bangus, I love sour soup and this had the perfect amount of sourness. I tried everything and there was not anything bad and no one left hungry. The only bad part about this restaurant was the live music was too loud to the point where you couldn’t have a conversation with the people at your table, felt like we were at the club. Overall great place and hard working employees.

Very nice atmosphere, clean and food are fresh and delicious authentic Filipino foods. They have live bands and acoustic. This is a gem in San Diego, I will definitely be one of the regulars here. The place is huge and perfect for small to large family and friends gathering and celebration. The servers are very nice, accommodating and polite and they sure we get everythifrom the perfect table that we wanted to all the condiments that we want (we asked for chilli, soy sauce and fish sauce lol). There’s a variety of Filipino food dishes and for sure they have whatever you are craving for. I believe one of the crew that assisted us was I believe it was Mariel, but all of them are nice and friendly. Thanks to ate for taking our photo and to kuya who served our food,

The food is good if you are craving for Filipino dishes. Prices are up and servings stagnant. The place now looks old and needs a makeover. Be aware that there is a service fee added on top of the tip. But service is pretty flat. Employees seem to be rushing here and there and pays little attention to your table.

I was in a mood for a Filipino food. This time I thought of checking out Gerry’s Grill in the Plaza Bonita Mall. I heard they have some amazing Filipino food.

We came as a group of 24 people. It was the first for some of our party. I strongly suggested Gerry’s Grill because I love their food. There were so many staff members standing around so I was hopeful that there wouldn’t be any problems or delays with the service (as experienced in past visits). Especially since our visit was on a weekday evening.

Absolutely terrible service!!! If I could give a half star, that’s what this place deserve. The waitress only took our order and didn’t check on us! It was even hot in the restaurant! The food is good and I want to try the new halo-halo but even if we left not paying no one will notice! There’s a bunch of staff in front but pay no attention. I have to pay to the front and left NO TIP that they deserve. Sorry, not sorry!

Came here after running around all day for work with some co-workers. They sat us promptly and the service was great! We ordered lumpia Shanghai hai, Chicharon Bulaklak, sizzling pork sisig with an egg and three orders of garlic fried rice.everything was perfect! The dip fr the chicharon was so vinegary and strong it was so delicious! The sisig was one of the best I’ve had in San Diego and the garlic fried rice was such a nice touch to bring everything together! And everything was only $50 pretty affordable
