This review is strictly on their Wednesday night $5 Beer+ Burger Basket. A beer and burger w/fries for $5 is such a great deal I had to try it out. The Getaway is a sports bar and grill and that’s exactly what you get when you walk in. Plenty of TVs with sports playing, pool tables, dart boards, and friendly regulars (atmosphere 4⭐️). Our service was excellent, they had 3 servers working the floor and at least 3 bartenders. They were super friendly, very attentive, and had all of our needs met throughout our meal (service 5⭐️). The price is of course going to be 5⭐️, it’s such a great deal, but besides that I ordered an additional drink before the meal and it too was well priced (and our server was very knowledgeable of what beers they had on tap at the time, which was refreshing) They also offer a list of signature drinks to try, and I surely will the next time I visit. They have the best burgers I’ve ever had. They totally beat out any other burger joint in the treasure valley. Their burgers on $5 burger & beer night are also amazing. Very laid back atmosphere, and the servers are prompt but also don’t overwhelm you with constant help. It’s my hubbys and mine’s favorite date night place, and we’re not bar goers typically.

1st time here. The special was excellent. The service wasn’t as good as I felt it could have been. Took a long time for the waitress to come back to take our order, and our waitress wasn’t attentive before getting our food. But the food was excellent and the price was cheap!

First time comming here i was with my sister trying new places and to find a place to take for our father on fathers day. Not even greeted or even know if we just sit anywhere or had to wait to be seated. Got ignored we were stared at when we walked in and sat at the bar the two girls that were bartending where more into making themselves drinks, and talking with their regulars and friends than acknowledged new customers wasnt even that busy in the bar area. We were ignored for like 5-15 minutes i was timing everything on my phone. Then we finally got a barley a greeting by the one was working i guess the red head was going on break and had a shot and a large drink that was being made for her by the other bartender with the messy bun and glasses. We were not asked if we been here before or if we were here to eat. We placed our drink order and then got ignored again before we even told her how we were paying for drinks and, that we are here to try food, we gave her a confused look like we are more than here to drink. But we just got our drinks and left to eat else where. This experience my sister and i had was disappointing. I will never recommend this place to my friends this was unacceptable and unprofessional i have ever experienced.

I am not a bar person at all! Except when it comes to this place, drinking or sober, the atmosphere, the service from Bri 2 and Ruby, and the setting is always positive and great! I continue to bring new people here and they end up loving it too, this is where I always have our mini parties.

I didn’t eat,just had a couple of beers, atmosphere was good, not smokey, the service was lacking, I was at 3pm not crowded 3 servers but waited long time for my first beer the second one I finally had to stop another server to get it.

Food was ok at best. But service really lacks here. Wait wait wait. Took almost 20 mins just to pay my bill for a simple dinner and 1 drink and there was only 4 tables. Probably won’t be back anytime soon.
