Unmatched atmosphere and quality of products. The menu is so well put together. The nose warmer is a fantastic hot coffee, but the Carver crush is the best drink they offer! We frequent Getaway as often as we can, sometimes twice a day.

The Getaway Motor Cafe is perfect for the historic downtown Carver. It was in desperate need of a coffee shop. The atmosphere is very welcoming and inviting to sit down, drink your beverage, and enjoy an amazing pastry. The donuts, rolls, and pastries are wonderful. I even went back for a second. In the evenings, they convert into a bar and, in the summertime, they will have a patio out back to sit and enjoy a drink. The cafe will be a wonderful addition to the historic Carver area, and you should check it out.

We are so excited to have the Getaway in Carver! The coffee is great, the staff is always friendly and helpful, the weekend evening drinks are great, the few food/snack choices I’ve had have been good. I like that they’ve been bringing in food trucks on the weekends. Overall they’ve filled a much needed niche in downtown Carver that compliments that other great choices that we have downtown!

A lovely retreat in the historic town of Carver. There is a delightful patio and interesting selection of baked goods, coffee drinks and lemonades of many flavors. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have watched the historic building being remodeled and was surprised that a sweet little retreat was coming to this little river town. I had the lavender lemonade and loved it. I would recommend it. A nice little outing to this cozy coffee house in this historic village on the Minnesota River. The town has many cool galleries and antique stores to visit and now an adorable coffee house.

ADORABLE coffee shop right in the heart of downtown Carver! Super cute inside and excellent coffee and tea. Ran into the owners while we were there and they were some of the friendliest people, who you can tell take pride in their business. Highly recommend you check it out!

Fantastic coffee shop just outside of the Twin Cities, but not too far out! Came here with some good friends with our cars and were treated to great coffee and service, plus a sneak peak of the super cool AirBnB rental on the top floor. Will be coming here often when I take a drive down SW of the metro! Looking forward to the outdoor additions.

Stunning Coffee/Cocktail spot right outside of the twin cities! Best drip coffee experience, clean cozy vibes. Greeted by the friendliest baristas. They also serve Cardigan Donuts on certain days. This will easily be one of your favorite go to spots!

This is easily the best coffee shop in the area! They have quality, great tasting drinks and pastries and the environment is warm and inviting. The owners are the sweetest and the baristas are too. It’s a great spot for us locals and worth the trip if you’re a bit further away.

We’ve been here both during the day for coffee and donuts, and in the evening for cocktails. Getaway has a completely different vibes during the day then it does at night. The coffee is good; cardigan donuts are amazing. Cocktails are top notch. My favorite is the gin tonic, and my husband loves the old fashioned. Great date night spot that’s not too busy on a weeknight, and pretty quiet for good conversations 🙂
