I was a little worried about eating at this restaurant being back in town based on the new terrible reviews. I used to eat here all the time, and it’s not the best in the world but for consistently good food with Caribbean inspired flavors this is one of the best you’ll find in tally. Yes they will be out of most things close to closing which is why I only had chicken… They even allowed me to split one of my entrees between brown stew and jerk chicken and blessed on the oxtail gravy.

I was visiting from out of town and was told this is the best for oxtail/carribean . I did not like the taste at all and it was very greasy . My 5 y/o loves Mac and cheese but refused to eat after I bought a small pan of it from here. It was def a different taste from what we are use to. They give a nice portion size and quick service but after a few bites of me trying to finish I ended up throwing it out.

For a casual lunch or dinner you can’t go wrong. The staff are warn and friendly and happy to describe a dish or steer you toward something when you don’t know what you want.

It was edible, but the oxtail had a weird, sweet taste. Sweet might not be the right word, but not great. Odd flavors. Mac and cheese was not tasty. It was crunchy and I miss my regular oxtail place. The drink: champagne cola is the only good thing. Very tasty

I got the stew oxtails which were $23.01. it was very delicious and the staff were both polite, helpful and friendly. The only problem I had was they charged me an extra dollar to use my card. I didn’t see a sign nor did the server/ cashier mentioned the extra dollar fee. If they did I would have gone to my truck and gotten the cash. If I am spending my money, i would like to know where it is being spent and on what.

Very disappointed. I ordered the brown stewed chicken. The portion was outrageous however, this was not true Jamaican brown stewed chicken. It was more like chicken cacciatore because of all of the tomato sauce. The cabbage was tasteless. For a Jamaican restaurant it did not have what I expected. The people were very nice.

Absolutely exceptional Jamaican food , you know the food is about to be good when the cashier gives you a little attitude ! I had the pleasure of ordering the oxtails which were beautifully marinated in gravy , This dish is definitely one of my favorite of your want to try out some authentic Jamaican food with rice & peas check out this place right now !!! The food will speak for itself !! Be prepared to pay a pretty penny as well .

The food was very good with generous portions. The oxtails were a bit pricier than I was used to paying. It did not have tables inside making it difficult for parties more than 4 to sit together.

They ran out of a lot of food by 6:30pm and they don’t close until 9pm. My boyfriend got the oxtails and curry goat which was good however, my stew chicken was very soggy and not tasteful. Rice and peas were good along with the cabbage
