I had a mixed experience at this restaurant, but there were certainly some standout dishes worth trying. The Morog Polao and Mughlai dishes were exceptionally delicious, leaving me satisfied with their authentic flavors.

After a tiresome day at DC, we thought of trying out some Bangladeshi dishes as we r fond of Desi cuisine. So we ended up there and ordered plain rice, ruhi fish, beef curry & daal. We also wanted to try out their morog polao & rosgolla but they were outta stock. Anyway, the foods tasted pretty good, I won’t say great though. But the service wasn’t professional at all. There was hygiene issue too. The plates they served were very dirty, we had to change those & took one time use plates instead of those. They didn’t serve napkin & spoons for any curry or rice. They also forgot our orders. We had to remind them 3 times for serving our foods. The restroom where we were supposed to wash hands after meals were ewwwww beyond imagination too.

Best bangladesh food experience that I have had so far, as a Bangladeshi myself, compared to Atlanta restaurants. I highly recommend chicken morag polao( better than chicken biryani in terms of spice and flavor palate), shami kebab( one serving), chicken roast ( authentic style). Staff is nice, some of them may not know English very well, restroom not clean enough , so some people may suffer a little but the food is good nonetheless. And the price in this area , considering serving size and foos quality, it wins over other Indian restaurants. We had moghlai parata( flat bread) for to-go, recommend eating it hot enough and skip the chutney if you have sensitive stomach.

I had beef curry and beef Tehari and both times they were top notch. I don’t understand the low reviews, this is not an item based specialized Dhaka restaurant and we should keep our expectations to that level. Really appreciate the running a Bengali restaurant here and hope it grows better overtime with support.

Food was good, especially the mutton curry. It’s a must try. Food served is very homely. They do not have much vegetarian option, the day we visited being a Monday did not have most of the items on the menu. But whatever we ordered was really tasty. About the ambience I would say that the owner must take a little care about the decor and cleanliness. The place looks shabby.

Underrated Gem, The chicken biryani, beef tehari, and chicken roast are all bursting with flavor, yet remarkably non-greasy. From the attentive service to reasonable prices, this place deserves recognition. Don’t miss out on this underrated culinary gem. I don’t like to dining. Always try to take out.

The lady host was super nice. But the place was dirty( specially the bathroom) . Their utensils were dirty also. Now let’s talk about food. Their food tasted good at the beginning but as I kept eating I could feel the difference in taste. Basically they did not make it completely fresh. They mixed the fresh food with food from previous day or even the day before which really disappointed me. The only reason I gave 3 stars because of the lady’s behavior. They definitely need to do better.
