This was my first time ever at an Ethiopian restaurant so the entire experience was foreign to me. The service was speedy and polite which I appreciated, but the explanation of how things worked at an Ethiopian dinner wasn’t as good.

Really delicious food would definitely recommend! Pricey unless you get the combination. Wait staff was nice and attentive no complaints. However the food was slow to come out. They definitely need to hire more cooks or streamline service in the back.

This was just the delicious flavorful and semi-healthy meal I needed. Got the vegetarian plate for two and your get to choose 8 veggies since it offers 4 per person. Favorites were the collard greens, split pea, mushroom, cabbage and potatoes, and the spicy bean. In addition we got the doro tibbs chicken stew, but that turned out to be too much food for two. Everything was SO GOOD. Be careful eating everything with all the injera, you’ll fill up quickly, and there are no utensils by default.

My go-to spot for Ethiopian food in NYC! The best way to do is going with a friend or friends! I went alone but wished I could try more dishes but my stomach is not as big as my eyes and my wishes!

Delicious food, attentive staff and it was easy to just walk in and get a table. I’ve been to a different Ethiopian restaurant in the city but this one is much better. Everything we ate was delicious and the sour bread was not too sour, it was perfect!

The place is not that big but when it gets busy the service can be a bit slow. The prices are very reasonable. All of the stews were delicious with a lot of flavor. The spicy bean dish was excellent and the butternut squash was very good. I would not recommend the lentil dish (misir wett) and the cabbage dish (atkilt wett). Overall authentic food and nice atmosphere.

Very very good! I’m visiting Brooklyn from Houston for the weekend seeing a friend. She brought me here for dinner, and I’m glad she did! Food was super good! She had the Ghenet combination plate, and I had the kitfo. The kitfo was ao damn good! Price was fair enough for the amount of food and quality of the flavor. Restaurant was clean. Staff was friendly. I’d say for sure give it a try if you’re in the area! Definitely recommend!

The food was delicious! Besides Indian food, Ethiopian had the largest variety of vegetarian/vegan food. The variety is fantastic! The injera bread is delicious and so we’re all the 8 sides put plate had. Absolutely fantastic, would come again.
