New startup opened in October 17 small casual Italian restaurant. Our family of four had the Lasagna, Spaghetti and Cheese Ravioli. All of our meals were good. They have a variety of items some were not available on our visit is the reason I did not give 5 stars the food offered was tasty and fresh. New startup with some things still not available. I hope they do well and in the Corydon community.

The atmosphere is good and the service was amazing. The food however leaves a lot to be desired. I had the Italian sandwich and posts salad. The only thing good about it was the bread. I must say the staff was very friendly and attentive. I just wish the food had more flavor. This resturant could be an amazing place if the food was more palatable.

Went this past Wed night at 7pm thinking dinner rush would be over, but there was only one small table over at the side that was difficult to get to due to their arrangement of searing. So, we sat at the little bar area. Had to wait a good 10 minutes before I even saw a worker and asked if it was okay to sit there. No smile or greeting, just blurted back a “Yeah.” I had to ask for napkins to wipe off the seat and bar area, then had to wait again until I saw someone to ask for menus. Long story short, good pizza but not worth it all. Service, seating and cleanliness left much to be desired.

Nice atmosphere. I was not expecting country music. Slice of pizza took a long time to make. Crust was doughy and not crispy. Pasta salad ok but too much dressing that got over the pizza.Even though it was ok it was nothing different than you could buy at a deli. Only one poor waitress at lunch time. No paper receipt. Not a big deal but if you are one to double check your receipt it could be a problem. Was not impressed. Was disappointed.

I took my daughter here for an afternoon meal. The loaded pizza was awesome, and I can say with all honesty that it was served exactly as the pictures on their website show. Spot on with the crispy crust and generous toppings. We’ll be going back soon!

Giacomo’s is one of Corydon’s new restaurants. The lasagna and the chicken Cordova was delicious. Both dishes were served with fresh salads with their in-house ranch dressing. The atmosphere was pleasant and the friendly wait staff delivered quickly and efficiently. We plan to return to try one of their speciality pizzas.

A little pricey. A 16″ two topping pie with drink and tip set me back $28.12. The service was excellent, and the food was quick. Maybe a little too quick. The crust was still a bit doughy. But, that could be because I got there as they opened, and the ovens were just fired up. Not really thin crust, like I was hoping. It’s more of a hand-tossed thickness.

Wife wanted to eat here…she had a craving for spaghetti and meatballs. I had the lasagna.. started with a lettuce wedge salad and was told the only had Ranch dressing.. uh ? What if I don’t like Ranch ? Ok…dinner came out..no garlic bread at a Italian restaurant .. only a flat yellow piece of flavorless bread..not sure what it was…My lasnana was good but portion was small..but wife’s spaghetti ..the sauce wasn’t only not hot..it was refrigerator cold. Sent it back…im sure it was microwaved back to us. Ate, got the check and ran…not to good guys.

Went there the first time on a Sunday for dinner and walk in at 5:45 only to be told they close at 6! What restaurant closes right at dinner time? Insane! The second time we went there was at 6:30 on a Saturday and the place was half full. As soon as we sit down the waitress comes over to tell us that they only have one cook and her working! I broke down laughing as she continues to tell us that if we did order it would take an hour AND they were out of dough! We walked out and won’t even try again. Won’t have to because they won’t be open much longer with that kind of service.

Lasagna portion is very small. Left hungry. It tasted good, but when you spend $30 on dinner just to go home and eat because you’re hungry, not a great experience.
