This was our first time at Giana. great location on PCH, but with limited parking. We happened to find parking across the street in a gravel lot, don’t know if it will be there long term, but it worked for us. In our party of five we ordered Cavatelli, Mussels, Salmone, and I got the Short Rib over pasta in white sauce. Loved it. Might be new to the menu, our server, Marie, recommended it and I’m glad she did. I also tried a few bites of the salmon, which was also really tasty. Generally our food was really good, but a little on the heavy/rich side. For some that is what they seek out, but for us it was filling and then some. But that’s okay, we were able to take some of it to go. Oh, and the dessert, we got one for the table to share, which allowed for a couple of bites each. I should have paid more attention when she was describing it, because it was awesome. Some kind of short bread or poppy cake with an apricot sauce and a white sweet cream sauce and some pistachio crumble on top. The next time I go I will be saving room for dessert, perhaps all for myself.

A nice Italian restaurant and bakery with quality ingredients. You can ask for organics eggs etc for additional cost. Bakery is attached to the restaurant. Interior is relaxed cosy and not too fussy. Staff is polite and friendly. There is limited parking and outdoor seating is also available

I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. It was absolutely delicious. The sauce however was a little too soupy. I gf loved the avocado toast. The food was about as pricy as you would expect for Dana Pointe brunch. Overall good experience!

My family and I had breakfast at Giana Bakery this morning and it was incredible! We have heard wonderful things from friends and family, so we finally made it a point to try for ourselves! AMAZING! Being that it was our first visit, we had to get just about everything on the menu…and they did not disappoint! The Morning Bun my toddler ordered was phenomenal…the cream cheese frosting was more like whipped cream than a glaze…total perfection! My husband and I shared the biscuit, avocado toast, oatmeal and a fruit plate….and then we ordered a tiger biscuit to top it all off! The staff was friendly and attentive, a very warm and welcoming experience! We will definitely be back for another yummy breakfast but we are also super eager to try Giana for dinner! Highly recommend this eatery if you’re in the area

The food here is absolutely delicious. High quality ingredients and prepared very well. However the staff here are like a Michelin rated restaurant – they go above and beyond to make your experience absolutely perfect. Our server Maria was phenomenal. The manager Alexis is so kind, friendly, and hospitable. Top tier experience all around.

We came here for brunch on a Saturday and it was packed, but thankfully there was not a wait at the time. Five stars for our server Sandra, who was friendly and checked in on us. Her intention was to make sure we loved our food and that we would come back, which I super appreciated. Our favorite dish was hands down the Nicoise (grilled salmon with a salad). Second favorite was the Eggs Pomodoro with fresh toasted bread on the side. I wasn’t a fan of the Aglio e Olio pasta. Their sea salt chocolate chip cookie was also tasty. Ambiance was airy, busy, but not too crowded in a cafe setting. It reminded me a bit of Italy, but with way more space and friendlier staff. Would come back when in the Dana Point area again!
