Gibbie’s is a legendary restaurant/ bar in Morgantown. The place never seems to change!! I enjoy the open Mic Night the best. Nothing like live music and hearing some of the areas top talent perform and you don’t need a ticket!!

An absolute institution of Morgantown nightlife. I come here for date nights with my boyfriend. I come here to start my nights. I come here to end my nights. The bar is cozy, familiar, and warm; a home away from home. The people who work here are amazing. The food is to die for. The tap list is impressive. I dream of the long islands. If you haven’t come to Gibbie’s and gotten an order of pepperoni rolls and a pint, literally what are you doing?

Gibbie’s is one of the best bars I’ve been to. Their wings are better than Buffalo Wild Wings. Everything I ate there was delicious and freshly made. Amazing vegetarian options and one of the biggest selections of drinks I’ve seen in Morgantown. The staff was super friendly, too! You won’t regret coming here!

My family and I went here today. You seat yourself. We waited about 15mins before someone came to our table to take our drink order. Our server was very friendly. They have bomb chicken wings and mozzarella sticks! As for my main dish and my cousin’s main dish it was not great. I got the grilled chicken salad. The lettuce in my salad looked dead and not good to eat. I only ate some of the chicken, cucumbers, and the fries that comes on it. My cousin got the Philly cheesesteak and steak was rubbery.

Tony and I went to a Cruise In Car Show on High Street in downtown Morgantown this evening. After checking out the cars (which were awesome) we went into Gibby’s to cool off…. it’s a heatwave out there!!! Tony had a bottle of PBR and I had Unsweetened Iced Tea.

Amazing brunch on Sundays!! Thee G&B is my favorite. Staff could spend less time huddled up talking and more time taking care of the customers. They seemed to only be concerned with their friends that were sitting at the bar.

Food was good! service was terrible. Was there two days in a row because of a dance competition nobody wanted to wait on the tables had to go to the bar to get everything lady acted like it was an issue that I ordered food to start with! one of the people that was with us had a broken foot asked if they could come to the table to take her food order for her, she slammed her book down like it was a problem won’t be going back.

I am a Morgantown native. Tell me how I passed this place countless times but never stopped by until today. We sat outside to enjoy the sun and some craft beer. We ate the pretzels and beer cheese. The original indoor decor is beautiful. Loved it. Lemme tell you, it is worth it. The only reason I gave it a lower star rating is there are no locks on the stall doors in the ladies restroom.

My daughter had dinner here while visiting WVU. We were not impressed. The food was just ok. The beer was served warm and there was a bug on our table. The service was slow. We will choose a different restaurant next time.
