Optimistic food hall is a perfect description. This is a food hall connected to a game room. It hits on looks. The bones and plan are right. The execution leaves way too much to be desired.

A good place to grab a bite to eat or a drink after shopping for antiques next door. Also close proximity to a couple breweries. It looks like more options are opening soon as well. A great way to spend a day during the weekend.

Optimistic food hall that needs more love. There are currently two food places open, Johnny’s Burgers and BBQ and Taco Street. Johnny’s had fast and friendly service. Their bbq bowl was a great sampler of baked beans, mac n cheese, cole slaw, and pulled pork bbq. They had four sauces from the traditional vinegar bbq and the thicker sauce. Taco Street had a longer wait and straightforward service for two street tacos and taco bowl. All of the food tasted great. There is a coffee shop at the entrance then a beer hall downstairs, but it is mostly lacking where more places will open. I can’t wait to see it in the future and try more local places!

Went for lunch. Kudos to the developers. This place is gorgeous and has a wonderful choice of restaurants in the food hall. We tried the street tacos and an Asian fusion bowl. Both were delicious. Outside seating was great. Can’t wait to go in the evening!

We had some great drinks at The Market Bar and just hung out on the porch. We ended up going down to Cabarrus Brewing for beers and dinner, which were all wonderful. There are several places to chose from for a meal in The Market, along with a very busy coffee shop. All around a great place!

Went with my SIL and we had a great time. I’m sure it will get better as more opens. Got dumplings from one place the shrimp and ginger and they were very bland unfortunately, adding a dumpling sauce would be a good idea for them. Chili cheese fries from another place that were awesome! A great portion for a great price. Would go back for those. And a taco from another place that was overflowing with steak. I’d be back, although I didn’t care for their chimichurri. It felt too large of a cut to be a sauce and it was a weird flavor to me. The cookie place and icecream places were both not opening until 4 so that was a bummer. Had we not had the babies we would’ve checked out the arcade. Overall great experience though.

This is for Barcos at the Market. Less than impressed with the menu. The Mahi itself was okay but the rice bed lacked flavor, it was colorful but basically flavorless. The tuna poke is over powered by fresh ginger. At least the place was clean and staff was very nice.
