Loved all the beers. They had a great variety of flavors. Bartender was great and let me taste the beer before I got a pint of it. Food was fine for a bar. Plenty of interesting conversations to chime in on. Overall a great experience.

I had a nice dinner with my family. The food tasted great and the portions were good. The staff was very attentive which is important to me because not being able to find your waitress or get your drink in a timely manner compromises the dining experience. Three more points: the prices are reasonable, the decor is simple but has fresh newly built scent and the place was (temperature) warm. It seems some people have had a different experience but for a casual dinner I would say give it a try.

Went for a reception. They had only one person waiting on a party of like 100, in the dining and the bar area. She was super nice, but couldn’t keep up trying to do the job of 3 people. Food was good, and good kid options, drinks good, but the cash bar orders were taken and not filled, cashing out was difficult, used dishes piled up in the dining room, every time we went to the bar she was disappearing to the dining room to clear. It was unimpressive. I might stop by for a drink during the normal hours, but I would never ever book an event there myself. I hope the hosts got some of their money back, and that waitress got paid well, cuz she was running the whole time.

We stopped going to the Hobnobbin years ago because it had become a dump and the food was terrible. We tried Gibson’s based upon other reviews. While the interior was “renovated” (essentially painted w/ new tables and chairs), not much has changed. The exterior hasn’t been touched, and frankly, I question why they decided to open before it was all completed. They haven’t even attempted to clean the garbage out of the parking lot. It’s a terrible first impression, and didn’t improve from there. The food was mediocre, at best. Wings had a mealy texture (inedible), everything was greasy, and they were out of several things that came with what we ordered. The menus were printed off of google. Bootleg. Will not return.

The new owner, Bob, made this once wonderful place a joke. There were fruit FLIES in my drink and when I asked for new drink they poured from the SAME bottle. DO NOT eat here, the kitchen is DISGUSTING and NEVER clean! They do not wear gloves even when handling /raw/ meat. Honestly shocked the board of health hasn’t shut this place down.

I have been coming to this location since I have been a child and when the establishment was called by another name. Regardless of the years that has passed, this restaurant and bar is a pleasant location for gatherings with friends and family. Whether you are looking for late night food and drinks or a night sit down dinner menu, Gibson’s has you covered. If you want great service at the bar, ask for Elvis, he will take good care of you!

I would say our family became regulars by now. We love wings, hamburgers, turkey rueben and their french onion soup is really good. I think affordable prices and their glass of wine is very big for only $7. Their staff is very friendly and when fireplace is going gives nice home atmosphere that you don’t want to leave. They also have band playing occasionally. Really big improvements from old Hobknobin.

Well the food was awful to say the least. We ordered an app of pretzel bites which came with a substance they called cheese sauce…not quite. I also ordered a burger med. Raw. It came out burnt and well done. And I mean charcoal burnt, how can you even let food come out that way…lol what a joke. Then when we told to waitress who was nearly impossible to find she didn’t apologize just asked if I’d like another I declined being my wife had almost finished her awful excuse for mac and cheese. And I had no faith they could get it right the second time. At no point did a manager or and owner come over and apologize . then when the check came, they didn’t even remove the burger I didn’t eat because it was burnt to a crisp until I said something. There were 4 tables in the restaurant. And I witnessed 3 of them send food back because it was terrible. The inside looks very poorly renovated and boring walls with no pictures or anything and the bar is dark and poorly lite. Not very inviting although they updated the inside a Little, they haven’t invested a dime in the exterior and it looks worse then when it was hobnobbin. I would suggest if your considering having a meal there don’t waste your time and money. They dont have a clue . and its a shame that its just another crappy restaurant/ bar to open in the area. I would be surprised if they are open very long at all.

Went there today. Came in no one even egnolaged us. Set there for like 10 min and no one came over, bar tender never said a word. So we left and went to Paula’s public house and I’m glad we did. Beautiful place and great service.
