This was the best experience! The seafood was absolutely delicious and it’s obvious that a lot of care went into the creation of the recipes. Both the cocktails and the collab beer Capisce were phenomenal. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere is lovely! I would highly recommend it!!!

They don’t take reservations — so we put our name down, and just headed next door for drinks. We waited for under 30 mins till we got a text, and voila! We got half a dozen oysters, the smoked fish dip and the scallop roll. We got great oyster recommendations and all the food we had was delicious. Although we didn’t get it, the seafood pancake look amazing as well. The martini is a must!

We came here while we were waiting to go to another restaurant, and we had an amazing time, our server Evan was great and gave us the best recommendations from the menu! The food and cocktails were so unique and tasted amazing, we are definitely planning on coming back here soon

Wonderful experience at Gift Horse. Enjoyed the whole fluke – unreal dish, with rice, spicy peanut sauce, pickled cabbage. Such a balanced dish to wrap . Oysters a must, and those fried squash sticks are tasty.

Gift Horse was just okay, tasty but did not live up to the expectations or prices. I had the $18 Gift Horse martini, and although it was a boozy drink it was pretty one note and the olives that garnished the drink were a sour rather than briny in an unappealing way. I also had the $22 seafood pancake and that should have been a little more crispy, the texture was kind of mushy. I also had the $14 smoked fish dip. The dip itself was tasty but not spectacular and the puffed chips were just okay.
