Your nose tells you how good it’s going to be the minute you walk inside. You can smell the “carmalized” smell of properly cooked french fries that are some of the best I’ve had in the area. I had hot dogs and beef sandwiches here, both of which were good enough to return for as well. As for the atmosphere, it’s a classic Chicago Hot Dog restaurant.

I got the juicy hot Italian beef it was sooooooo good. My husband got a hot dog and the kids got chicken sandwiches. Everyone loved everything. Great portion sizes so full. Staff was super friendly and helped us out of towners order.

Loved the dogs and fries here for over 30 years, moved out of area, but was visiting today and stopped. Snappy casing, onions, relish, mustard, sport peppers and poppy seed bun sang my favorite tune. Fries just added to the experience. I’m going to find a reason to be in the area and get that Italian Ice.
